For which mod exactly?
What?
It's compatible
No, they aren't. I'm currently using both of them and they're not showing up as conflicts. So whatever you're getting this issue aren't from this mod or enforcement mod.
I'm assuming you're using corrected "human skin" common infected mod then?

It's intentional design and done by previous modder. So quite frankly no, I can't really changed up with their skin colour
There's another method by going to L4d2 Properties>Workshop then put L4D CI Overhaul mod on top of human skin mod
Check if the Overhaul is on top of the human skin in add-on list this time, and then start up the campaign
1. The mod is compatible with Corrected Common "Human Skin" infected, considering it's required to have this mod
2. L4D1 infected having no scorch effects been like this for long time, valve haven't added this features and plus they don't utilise the colour system
Ah, no worries. My apologies, have a good rest of your day.
I think it's best to keep the way that past authors originally intended. So understandable, I gotta say no for this one
Hello, I would like to ask for permission to use the L4D1 textures for GMod? I am currently making Left 4 Dead Nextbots for GMod, and would love these guys to be apart of the horde.
Credits will always be given, appreciate it.
Hmm, any chance you could take a few of the screenshot of them to see how exactly glossy are they really is.
because on my side (in which I'll mention it again), it's quite subtle
The issue is mostly due to new shader system from TLS update. I've edited the common shared VMT to reduced the glossy effect, it's much more subtle but aren't bad to look at.
An example would be this mod, I doubt it still works, But I remember having used it long ago and there were more diverse skintones in L4D2 infected, and more reddish and less gray. There were caucasians, african americans, asians, etc.
I think that's kinda intentional design by St0neD since the L4D2 infected are decaying than L4D1 infected and its worth considering that l4d2 takes place within 6 weeks
I can but understandably though, I don't really want to do that for few reason
Both mods are not compatible with each other, so you have to pick one
Its doesn't since this is a reskin mod but I know what mod that cause that problem though. Which I'm assuming you have this mod:

This version is better for L4D2's commons skintone I'd think.
Help people, I can only install 1 and I want the one that looks the best to remaster the game xd.
