is there a way I can make it so it will allow early industrial (think U.S civil war) items and below? Where in the mod file does it have the tags that are restricted. I plan to use cherry picker to take out things I don't like cause I'm planning to do a Hunt: Showdown playthrough

Removed Mechanoids by default, which caused golems in Medieval Overhaul to not spawn.

@Flurbel pre-industrial means technologies that doesnt require electricity. Everything that starts from electricity has been hiden from the player

Update on 10/19/2024 4:39:34 PM.

Now game wont crush without log on game startup.
What cause issue for some players is incompatibility with RimFridge (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2898411376) because of their changes in research tree. This bug was not cause buy our or theirs mistakes. It`s solely players issue who Include industrial mods in medieval mod lists and dont check if they even work.

@justtrykan it dosent block crossbow because they are medieval. And what the hell is medium research bench? In wanilla there is two simple and advanced.

hello, is it possible to unlock the world tech after some time or after my settlement researches enought of stuff? I don't really want to do medieval only but I want to start with huge medieval part of my playthroughts

i have just aquired a colonist with a xenogenetically coded go-juice dependency. Is this supposed to be possible? Isn't go-juice effectively removed by this mod? How do i go about managing this?

We have our hands full rn so you will have to find out which mod caused it by yourself so we can fix incompatibility.

What you have to do is
1) Add mod you removed before, load the game
2) If it`s crashed - report this mod
3) If it`s havent crashed - repeat 1-2

Hey there, i managed to launch the mod after a lots of crash at "Loading Defs", i've removed a bunch of mods who adds weapons, armor, etc..

I think rimedieval stops trade ships from appearing - and Medieval Overhaul actually reimagines them into caravans from long range. Is it possible to enable them again without disabling rimedieval?

@LittlePalma then remove them and try to launch mod list with Rimedeival. If it`s ok then add one after another untill you cant load again.

@ogam oh gee. I've actually never gotten it to launch with Rimedieval, so I haven't added anything after it. I added a couple at the same time, which were Medieval Medicines Medieval Overhaul Edition and Medieval Overhaul: Royalty. The game launches with both of those without Rimedieval, but not the other way around. It always gets to the "initializing" part of the first load screen and then exits to desktop.

Unfortunately this mod is crashing my game on startup... when I remove this it launches fine. I have the crash log here as well, which is more confusing because I don't see this mod mentioned but I am admittedly not great at this kind of thing. Usually I just hope for the best and move on if it doesn't work, but I'd really like to use this mod. If anyone has any insights they are greatly appreciated.

Despite the backlash from people who just want to be rude instead of helpful (and again), I posted my Game Logs in their Bug report thread. Perhaps instead of accusing others and tossing insults, we can try being respectful and helpful, which might be a better way of resolving issues versus trying to cause discourse. Just an opinion.
Having said all of that, I was able to find the root cause of the errors: It is with the Adaptive Storage mod. The mod works and is not game breaking, however.
I still continue to support this mod and I await the news of the golem fix, et.al., before putting it back in my mod list. I remain subscribed to the mod as I really like what all it provides for a Medieval plathrough.

@Singularity DLC always goes right after core and before anything else. Rocketman always goes last so rimedieval goes before Rocketman

Tho, load order doesnt really matter in RW anymore, RimOy autosort handles it perfectly

Medieval Royalty ??? do you mean medieval overhaul royalty?

no offence but maybe explain better instead of assuming i didnt read it?

also by saying "Always try to place bellow your mod list!" did you mean place rocketman at the bottom of the mod list?

This mod is working perfectly for me. I'm using MO without any errors or crashes. If you're experiencing a crash to desktop, I recommend disabling all your mods and enabling only this one with MO to check if the issue comes from this mod. If the crash persists, turn off your mods one by one until you identify the problematic one. Once found, report the name of the faulty mod here to assist the creator, instead of posting an entire pastebin with 800 mods.

@Albys point is that few ppl out of 60k subs says it`s crashing without providing any log evidence. So yes it work and if RimPy says that MO and Rimedieval incompatible just ignore it, this issue is in RimPy database for over a 2 years already.

If you play with both mods and get crush - just report it here with log

Although, to be honest, with this kind of push back, I'm over it. The other mods work just fine and while it would be nice that they would work together with this one, I can live without it.

You can help us by sending your log with errors that you found... I have over 30 released mods and I don't have any patience to choose a "better rhetoric" because I got asked for help many times everyday with vague description that something going on and no log to help us to help you.
