Your English is excused and thank you for clarifying on everything. I can add it to the description of my video if you would like in order to clarify what was said in the video if you would like. Either way for not much experience, this is extremely well done. Again, very good work! If somehow you ever do manage to go back to this project and try to make an Objective mode version of this, let me know. I will happily play it when I can. :)..

wow by golly Xel'crin that's a lot to write ;D thank you very much for taking your time to write your thoughts and covering my map on your channel. I have to admit that this was an overly ambitious project that i did with a friend. At that time we were suppose to make/try to make an objective mode type gameplay, he has all the coding and technical know how.



While I had little experience with level design and none with the KF SDK that was used to make the map. KF-Melange was the product of me trying to learn how to use the KF SDK so i actually don't know how to solve alot of the problems i was facing but manage to get the map up and running at 90% completion

Somewhere a long the line he was relocated else where and didnt have the time to follow thru on his part due to work. I sort of lost steam having to work on it myself D: i decided to drop objective mode and change it to survival instead, since the map was already working but like you pointed out has alot of flaws, which i agree totally. There's actually more but i did my best to hide it.. heh most of it i don't have a clue on how to fix.

The pathing errors are from the uneven flooring that i craved out instead of using the proper tool i figure it was better then just having a flat surface. I tried to use the said tool but didn't manage to get it working.. the water effect which you highlighted was a mistake on my part and not from the KF engine i used the wrong sprite. i think i was using the running water instead of droplets hence the reflection from the flash light.


The Katana bug is actually from KF engine itself, if i remember correctly KF prevents you from buying an item that cost the exact amount you have. Again thank you very much for taking your time to cover and giving your opinion on the map, you are much too kind. This was my first map and frankly there were much more mistakes and errors due to my inexperienced. it was frustrating and fun at the same time to make, im glad that you enjoy it thank you for playing aweme channel btw <3

While there was good sound effects and a keen attention to what deserved sound and what didn’t, there was no music at all to the map, which I myself, and I’m sure some many others, would prefer music to be added, as well as the sheer amount of bugs in a “complete” map. I also believe while it looked good, and many things were balanced, there wasn’t much in terms of “points of interest”. For example there are two areas that I mainly constantly remembered going to in your map. The area in which you are standing in water, and two, the area here at 7:55 of my video. I can say with confidence, that this map not only amazes you from the beginning, but it overall is a very graphical map overall. There are many things in which Zeds can keep up with you, which normally is a problem with these larger maps, and for that I give you huge props. That being said though, some of the ground causes a pathing issue with the Zeds, likely due to their rough design to it. This can be seen at my video at 2:54, though I found another one at 16:02 that I can’t explain. Then oddly enough I encountered another bug at 4:05 as well as 5:52 in my video that I have never seen before in my life. If you can explain that to me, please let me know. There is also a bug at 4:56 with textures that I would highly suggest you fix. That all being said, this has been one of the better maps that I’ve played, almost 10/10 worthy. I didn’t make it this that though.
