I was looking for something more balanced but I didn't find. A good idea would be to only experience the disturb if it has passed more than 1 or 2 hours from the beginning of sleep time. Most pawns go to sleep at the same time so that should not cause any issues but the game is not smart enough for that.
I would really appreciate if you can also make a more balanced version or add this feature.

Hey y'all, this is compatible for 1.6 from my testing, just waiting for current author to update this to represent that so you don't have annoying errors.

Thanks man, I got tired of seeing the sleep disturbed debuff just because a husky or cat wandered into the bedroom.

I would also quickly guess the mod load order, unless, they completely overhaul the sleeping system, in which case this mod stops working. You can try loading this mod after theirs. Thanks for the comment.

If your using a mod that alters pawn sleeping via ideology; such as to make your pawns go from liking from private rooms to loving barracks instead, I have found this mod no longer prevents the disturbed sleep debuff. Which is very weird, but, I don't often use that option anyway so its not a big issue. Might just be a mod load order on my end, so take this with a grain of salt. Otherwise, works fine, love it!

This mod is so extremely compatible, a mod conflict is unlikely. You can simply load this mod first and if the problem still persists then it's a bug/feature from another mod somewhere.

My rooms with 1 bed are also turning into barracks for some reason. i think its a mod compatibility issue. will update if i find which mod it is

Of course, any room with 2 or more beds will be converted from "bedroom" to "barracks" which is the default vanilla behavior from Rimworld and is intended by both Rimworld and me.

Almost anything is possible but I have no intentions for such a mod (which should also be a separate mod).

I prefer this mod exactly as it is now, small, compatible, zero performance impact, easy maintenance and does exactly what it says and should do.

I normally don't ask for things from modders but could you try to make this a new precept ? that would mean some pawn would be bother while other would be okay since they are tunneler or raiders that don't care about confort , luxury or open spaces and are use to be interrupted

But the disturbed debuff also bugged me in general. Example:
The doctor walks in to treat a patient and the patient goes on a full rampage because "the doctor disturbed his/her sleep"...

It's not about complexity and reward, this mod simply removes it completely and that's the only thing I needed. I created this mod mainly for the Barrack mod (multiple pawns sleeping in one room) but sadly they still triggered the disturbed sleep debuff x3. The only other mod that removed the debuff doesn't work and worse, overwrites stuff. Hence this mod.

What you are asking for is a completely different mod, but yes I guess that it would be possible. You could perhaps try Discord to and ask around if someone is willing to make that for you.

is there a way to limit the debuff to only one tile each way from the bed instead, or would that be too complex work for too little of a reward? because i dislike the disturbed debuff but i think it has its place in the game, just not across 8 tiles and a couch
