This mod isn't currently supported, it's very old at this point.

I’ve encountered a pretty significant bug. In the description of the "Raise Thrall Village" it is written "Cannot create within 3 tiles of another hamlet.", but I was able to perform this ritual right next to another hamlet, that is the distance between the created hamlet and another hamlet was 0 squares. Can be seen at 26:56 in the following video:

he can usually,but ive had it where he doesnt always wn, making me take an army to get the force and the village. Though its not the biggest problem usually. beyond that, this is one of the best mod classes ive played and i thank you for this

The Drow noble should generally powerful enough to beat a lot of the attackers alone.
IIRC you can beat a lot of them with just one set of the tier 2 repeaters+noble. But my memory is a bit dull on te matter.

love this mod, tho it can be a pain if i don't get access to any mines, and not going to lie, the whole creating a village gets you attacked is a little annoying, wasting troops when they should be on the front lines

Currently a friend is working on deepening the class quite bit, will wait to see what happens there before radically changing things here.

Having to buy slaves, for 25 gold, is rough. I assume the priest king slave gathering is hard coded which is why you aren't using that, but 25 gold for fodder units whose only purpose is tunneling and taking a single arrow is rough. Also should probably start with a pathfinder, because tunneling without farsight is asking to flood the caves, and unlike agartha your units won't survive that, so you can just game-over yourself very easily.

At the same time, the mages seem very powerful, dual-casters at equal level is very strong and their schools are pretty good as well, and the more powerful possessions are quite good, so maybe consider shifting power around to the early game more.

Just my thoughts, like I said I enjoy the concept but the economy in particular is a bit strange to me.

I like the idea behind this class, almost like a more extreme version of dwarves, but as it stands I feel it's severely underpowered.

For one, the terraforming rituals are extremely expensive, which means that they don't pay a return on the investment until many many turns later, not really worth it in my opinions, especially since hamlets also cost sacrifices. It would take 60 turns before a single hamlet made any profit in terms of sacrifices, which is the main reason you'd make them.

All the rituals are too expensive for their return really, the demon rituals seem to only give one or maybe a few demons, the lesser possession rituals don't even seem worth it, giving miniscule buffs but also locking units from further upgrades. The base units themselves are too expensive per unit, only getting 3 when their stats aren't even particularly impressive unupgraded.

That's the one, right. Perhaps you are right, village/town sacrifices could have given her a boost. I was just astounded by the unfairness of the thing. Here I am with a small troop of costly "elite" warriors (don't remember exactly what I had), and in goes the High Priestess with a massive army of gigantic units.

Right, that's true a well. High Priestess does eat a lot of settlements, so her income can be very deceiving.

The High Priestess is the one that destroys villages to summon big chunky units right? Slightly less sacrifice income just means she is way ahead, considering she destroys everything she comes across.

Oh, High Priestess? What were you using? What kind of stuff did you have?

I'll note, a weakness of the Matriarch is that all her troops rely on armour to survive extended engagements as well as blending the enemy before getting hit. This is not something that goes well against the HP, as her summons are all big fat, high hp high damage blobs.

This mod is fun. But maybe some balancing is due? AI baal faciton utterly destroyed me, and the graph showed they had somewhat less sacrifice income.

The bloodsword unit doesn't have the 50 poison resistance, and the raise thrall village/market doesn't have the no nearby terrain restriction as per spell description.

Mod compatabilty it a real mess in CoE. It should be doable if you just copied the lines in one and put them in the same file

Very good mod, I love it but it is not compatible with bystander mod. it starts well but if you exit the game and re-enter the game all units are changed. If you don't use bystander mod go perfect. Thank you for your work.

all good, the noble's build village and market no longer have the restriction of being 3 apart. not sure if that was on purpose. i like the changes made to Matriarch ritual costs, seems closer to what it needs to be.

fun mod, loaded a saved game that i was drow. i had 2 casts 1 lvl 1 and 1 lvl 3. the lvl 3 turned into a reapeter crossbow that could lead a army but lost all spells. the lvl 1 became a lvl 3 but had only lvl 1 spells. you rock keep up the great work.
