This shouldn't happen. Connectors not marked for parking should not disconnect. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3484516876 - here is an example of using the script on two connected ships. If you change the connector status during the game, you need to recompile the script so that it overrides the connector's purpose. Only thrusters are dynamically recalculated.

Even on Connectors not set for parking this script still will drop them. Mildly annyoing, dropped a miner of into the ocean because of it :(

The camera is needed to avoid obstacles along the ship's course. The camera should not be installed behind glass.

The main task of the script is to prevent the ship from crashing into an obstacle or the surface of the planet. The variable minalt determines the minimum height to which you can descend during the flight. For flying at a given height, another script is more suitable for you - https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1917788273 , but it is structurally more complex and in the mountains it can also cause problems due to a sharp difference in altitude, for example, when flying through a canyon.

Is there a way to actually set how high it cruises above terrain? It doesn't sound like minalt actually does that. The problem I'm having is that it winds up going extremely high because it flies over mountains and it climbs even though it's already way above their height. Fly flat is one thing, but I'd like to have terrain avoidance without it going to absurdity.

@Survival Ready - Got it, i was about 100m above ground when the PB was shot down, not much time to handle a crash.

@lordoftheloidl - There should be no systemic problems, and the destruction of the PB stops the script and the ship flies taking into account the settings it received from it last time. You need to disable the interception of control of thrusters and gyros to stop it.

@Survival Ready - Little Update:

Basic Functions work like a Charm thanks for the quick response.
I noticed that in escape mode, after about 1000m the ship turns like 90 degress skyward, but after stoping and reenabling it didnt behave like that again.

also after damaging the PB i couldt land it because it weirded around and destroyed itself, but i guess thats more of a game engine problem than the script :-)

В космосе с ионными не работает - нет гравитации для стабилизации относительно поверхности. В космосе работает лидар. Чтобы вывести информацию на экран кокпита установите переменную outseat = номеру экрана, начиная с 1 в коде скрипта. Там есть в комментариях к ней. Кокпит при этом должен иметь в имени префикс Cruise: например Main Cockpit Cruise.

I have not tested this possibility, it is possible that it works with some, but not with others. I faced this problem in my other Autokit Assembler script. There, some mod ammo were queued for production, while others were not produced. So I think it all depends on how the mod is written.

Sorry another question, does this script support modded thrusters? I just tested this on a new ship of mine and seems the script doesnt recognise modden thrusters

The programming block setting is in the line { "docking", new Progs { PB="PBL Docking", LCD="Cruise", SF=1 } } , where the name of the program block is "PBL Docking". The program block Spug's Autodocking must be on the same grid as the block Grand Cruise. If you have all this installed, then I do not see any other causes of the problem.

Yes I have tried to use the unofficial version of Spug's Autodocking 2 from your ships, but somehow still return the same error with PB NOT found *scratch head*

1. The script works with the unofficial version of the script Spug's Autodoking 2.0 To interact with it, I added a small piece of code that receives the coordinates of the connector from the Spug's script memory. The description contains examples of crafting and the script needs to be taken from there, I cannot glitch such changes separately without the consent of the author. Just load any ship from the example and take the Spug's Autodoking script from its program block.

2. Some functions such as lidar flight on autopilot and switching one display between different scripts also work in space. Autodoking can be used directly. The rest of the functions just don't make sense. Maybe I'll try later to replace the vanilla autopilot with my own to save hydrogen.

Hi, really neat script, however I encounter a little problem, I cant seem to get this script to recognise that Spug's Easy Auto-Docking 2 on the grid and its bothering me for a while, what could be the common cause? I tried to reset, recompile and what nots...

Ну у вас то тут хоть на русском описание есть, разберусь ))). Это с этим Spug's Easy Auto-Docking 2 с первого захода не получилось, хотел маршрут настроить между двумя станциями, но что то пошло не так, но это надо засесть ещё разок и внимательнее попытаться разобраться.

Тоже не люблю ковыряться в настройках. Этот сделан по типу поставил и забыл, если крафт не сложный, а для игры обычно такие и делают. Если что-то не так, то повесьте на отдельную кнопку запуск скрипта с параметром 0 (ноль) и он прекратить работу.

Там же не язык, там слова. ))) Опять же русская локализация глючит в настройках блоков. Установите английский и через день освоитесь. Все слова в диагностике скрипта не выходят за пределы игрового контента, а автопарковка, например, английская изначально. Удобная вещь, не стоит отказываться из-за незнания нескольких десятков слов.

All available parameters are indicated in the script code in its header. Execute the script with parameter 0 to undo any takeover actions.
