cant you just deactivate all in game so it works with mods too?

If the character who wears it is added by another mod, it won't work. This works only with vanilla NPCs. Do you have any mod that alters Mongrel faction? Try moving this mod lower on your load order, maybe that will help.

Thank you so much, i work for the rebel farmers against the empire and if i hovered over a rebel unit, his outline is RED, so i did some experimenting and it turns out, if you look to much like imperial samurai, the cursor color of rebel allies change from being green/yellow (allied) to RED (enemy) i didnt want to throw away the good armor i stole off the samurai gate guards and this mod fixes it. Now i can properly tell who my allies are in a fight (the rebels never actually attacked my units, just ignored me, but i couldnt heal, pick up or follow them. and when i turned on "heal allies, and help allies" my boys healed them and helped them. very interesting game mechanic that took me over a month to figure out, this fixes a huge problem in my game.
