What obvious reasons? That they're one of the most mod-friendly companies on the planet? That they have an entire program for encouraging fan-made content with their World of Darkness IP? That every DLC for Prison Architect has been accompanied by a free update including content and bug fixes? That they've made a game running on a badly suboptimal engine actually run half-way decently? Without writing an entirely new engine that requires modders to start over from scratch? That their DLC only costs a *fraction* of what the full game does?

And what makes the DLC crap? They look fun. I'll grant that I haven't played the non-free DLC, but only because I'm (rather unwillingly) on welfare, so even a five-buck DLC is a tad outside my budget. I got the base game as a gift, just FYI.

For a start I don't own all DLC so I cannot test several things: Jungle Pack, Future Tech, Undead, Gangs and Perfect Storm are not in my library - and I will not give a cent to Paradox for obvious reasons. Furthermore I'm concentrating on Advanced Roads 2.0 first, to see if that can be made more stable before I start with an updated CombiPack. Maybe I will even remove that mod from this pack for better compatibility with all the crap DLC paradox spit out in the past...

Im sure wont be too long. Other wise would of been zero reason for him to even bring it up. Thought could be like a month. But then again it does include a metric ton of mods...

lol at this point it might be better to just wait until the Kite/Gangs update comes out in the coming weeks, than to release a The Tower update just to update it again a little while later

I'm Kinda Bummed out that my favorite mod isn't updated but with everything thing that's been going on in the world i'm more worried about Murgh. I havent seen any status update as far as iv seen. this mod has got me through a good many years. It be devastating for anything to happen to one of my favorite modders, and im starting to wonder. Is Murgh well, does Murgh have Covid does Murgh still have an interest in modding prison architect. I just hope Murgh is well and hopefully we get an update, both in Murgh and in mod.

To everyone still having modpack issues: this mod hasn't been updated for the new patch. It's outdated unless you're running a previous version of the game.

The graphical glitch happened again. And this time resetting the mod folder didn't work. Does anyone have any idea, why allthe sprites go crazy, like guards look like garden shovels, prison doors are giant janitors etc?

Okay, it fixed, when I went to the folder where the mods are located and wiped it clean and let it download again.

I haven't seen this problem I have mentioned yet, and I'm not sure what is causing it, but when I enable the combipack (no other mods) the graphics go weird, like prisoners are garden shovels, streetlights are Huge wardens and stuff like that. I am still having couple things to try and see, if I can sort this out, but something in this pack messes the graphics, since as soon as I disable it, the graphics go back to normal. I try remember to post if I figure it out myself.

Game doesnt start when this mod is activated. I have only this mod. Win 11 pro. Launcher said: "Launching the game failed". Any idea?

Either Murgh is working on a new version, or we may have to find new ways to get these features updated for the new patch without the original modder's help. It's sad to say, but it's also sad to see Murgh's extremely impactful mods to just go silent and dormant...

I'm having the same issue as Brack, automatically installed lights to get installed, and I have a huge line of transport trucks with lights in them that never unload the lights. Also oddly if i try to sell the lights in the truck beds it charges me money to sell them.

@PGMbiggun - a new patch called "The Tower" just came out today. I launched my game, and I noticed the trees were replaced with different warden designs. Unfortunately the new patch will out date this mod unless you can backtrack and undo the update/go back to "The Pen" version of the game.

Didn't even realize there was a free update coming out or a new DLC being announced/coming out - so I just kinda screwed myself over after getting back into the game on a whim.

So I've got a really odd issue going on. This is the only mod I have installed on a fresh install of PA, but some things seem to be...well, odd. My male prisoners have prison vans for bodies, and I've got some who have road gates for bodies. The trees are all different warden models. There's a lot of odd things going on and I'm not sure what to do here.

Alright, I deleted the terminal building and the bare zone now seems to function as a proper delivery zone. Whew.

...and when my workers do unload transports, they just leave items to idle in the traffic zone and take ages before they start building what the materials were for, sometimes they never do at all and just wander as if they had nothing to do.

Is there a way to disable the Traffic Terminal and revert to vanilla delivery zones? I feel it is needlessly complicated for no purpose and im having lots of problems with it, helis never getting unloaded, boats filling up with civilians but never departing, released prisoners getting stuck inside, etc...

Why can't I call in Fire Engines, Riot Police, Armed Police, Paramedics or Soldiers from the emergency tab with this mod turned on? If this is progression based, is there a good tutorial out there?

Hello @murgh , I installed my game, with only this mod. However, I have a little problem with the lights. When I do foundations, so a new building with automatic lights, they don't work ... Let me explain:

The building is built, then there is the automatic purchase of the lights. I am charged for the purchase price of the lights and a delivery truck arrives. However, this one never stops, it starts again, I am reimbursed for the lights and charged again. And it's an endless circle. Here is the screen of the delivery truck with the lights in it.

@Javel1n I don't see any meal or vending issues with the demo map, will keep an eye on it though. There should be no need at all to run AR2 above this mod, unless your combipack download got corrupted.

@SergeantAtom Storage rooms should not be needed that much (or that big), since the traffic terminal enables fast deliveries. No way to assign idle people afaik.

And also, i must use Advanced Road 2.0 then combipack. Why? because when using only combipack, traffic manager still have named "Delivery"

Confirmed, there is a bug involving Advanced Road 2.0 which affecting staf from meal and vending machine.

If i use advanced road, the bugs will do :
- Endless supply of staff meal.
- Invicible crate of vending.
- When meal / vending supply delivered into cargo area, it will immedietly get removed by worker.
- Vending supply get delivered instantly.

Can you check?

@SergeantAtom Not sure whether you activeted mutators or not, but it kinda sounds like you activated the "Fast Deliveries" one.

Also, IIRC, workmen can't be "assigned to hang out somewhere". Instead they idle in the Storage room, among Janitors\Gardeners.

Is there any reason why deliveries spawn inside the storage room when I have one? When I remove the storage room trucks arrive at their cargo stations just fine, but when I add a storage room they just never come anymore and deliveries spawn in the storage room instead, instantly in fact. Also, is there any way to assign idle workers to just hangout somewhere? Mine are always at the stations so they're scattered across the road, very annoying.

Heya... there seems to be some funky stuff happening with Advanced Roads 2.0...

When a traffic terminal is placed, the only thing that appears is a square shadow. I can't access its menu options. When a road station is placed, right clicking doesn't deselect the current tool, so stations are placed no matter which mouse button is clicked...otherwise, the station can be deployed successfully & the menu does appear to function normally.

The only mods I have installed above the CombiPack are Default Staff, Chief for Execution & Solar Power XL. Not sure if something is outdated or something... I've done a clean install, making sure all old files & folders were deleted. I dunno! Lemme know what you think is going on... thanks!

Is there a reason the staff meals are invisible on the serving table? This is the only mod installed, and I used the manual installation method from the pinned article. Thank you.
