With this mod, you can use bus-only roads from Delta 5-1, that were either not created using the After Dark bus template or have only buses (not supported in the base game; only dedicated lanes on shared roads w/ turning vehicles allowed). For example "Two-lane bus road". This mod may also be more similar to TM:PE "High" vehicle restrictions
@Witchberry
yes it works fine doing nothing :rolleyes:
@FilmFriendly
see TM:PE
By default:
TMPE requires either manually applying rules to each segment/lane; or enabling "Ban Private Vehicles from Bus/Taxi lanes" in options.
"This mod is intended for those who don't/can't use TMPE, but still want functional bus roads.
If TMPE is enabled, this mod will do nothing."
If you use TM:PE, you can setup more granular options on any network (and paint custom segments with IMT too!). You can also adjust vehicle ban strength (Normal, High, and Strict). For example buses by default will also share their lanes with cars making turns on the immediate node or delivering to a business there; unless the road doesn't support private vehicles in any lane (like "2 lane bus road").

Which part of "it will do nothing" means "it works"? YOU DO NOT NEED IT. Use TM:PE's "ban private vehicles from bus-only lanes"
Regrettably, the mod is not compatible with TM:PE; it will do nothing if enabled. This is because TM:PE uses its own pathfinding code. You can achieve a similar thing with TM:PE settings, so if you are using TM:PE, you are not losing much."

Its rare to have a thourogh explaination of why it doesnt work and i'm already set on working on a way to keep extorting i mean providen public transport to my population.
(sorry if my reply is akward and/or riddled with typos i rarly write comments but your mod helped me a lot and im thankfull for it
There is a certain limit beyond which pathfinder will decide that a route isn't reasonable, and effectively that the destination cannot be reached. I don't quite remember what the limit is, but I believe it's somewhere around 30-60 minutes journey time.
The mod works by making the pathfinder think that the speed limit on bus lanes or bus-only roads for non-buses is 1 km/h (0.6 mph). This means that vehicles will prefer alternative routes using "normal" lanes/roads that are up to 40x longer (assuming a speed limit of 40, like on the vanilla 2-lane road). What it also means is that if you have a 250 m (270 yds) stretch of a bus road and the pathfinder finds no alternative routes, then it *thinks* it will take 15 minutes just to cover this relatively short distance, and this could add up beyond the path limit.
This is to use if you DO NOT use TM:PE
If you use TM:PE this is ***REDUNDANT**
