no, RT56 has its own Manchukuo tree which is probably better anyways. My mod serves as an improvement for the vanilla Manchukuo experience in particular

I don't know what the issue might be. It works normally for me.
Do you have any other mods enabled?
It wasn't created with RT56 in mind. There might be bugs if you use both mods at the same time because both of them change Manchukuo and Mengkukuo

I am also looking into using the new faction influence mechanic from BBA in the mod to simiulate the power struggle between the japanese faction and the independence faction instead of just choosing one focus to decide if you are gonna become independant or stay loyal.
1st: The decision and Focus which change Manchukuo's ideology do it in a more natural way now via a little immediately and the rest added over time with a national spirit.
2nd: some AI stuff regarding advisors
3rd: Manchukuo (or the imperial kwantung territory) will now take over japanese possessions in China like Dailan and East Hebei when Japan gets into a democratic civil war. (They already did that when Japan had its communist civil war)

Add a branch on the independence path allowing the player to empower Zhang Xueliang and form a KMT aligned state, or empower the communists and form a pro CCP aligned state, and they can compete with China for national leadership
Add a branch on the obedience path to allow the player to empower Beiyang Government collaborators and re-establish the Beiyang Government (Under Japan)
i'll keep it in mind but such a path is low prio atm.
I dont work much on the mod currently and i first wanna do smth regarding the russian civil war. Perhaps a landgrab of outer manchuria with border conflicts when russia is at its weakest
I do have an idea about a possible constitutional monarchy path (its just a thought):
Perhaps- after taking out both National and Communist china- the player (if they have Wanrong as the leader- she was sort of more Western in her education than Pui was), can opt for switching to Dem (same flag and name): maybe altering some buffs to the Mandate of Heaven spirit
(maybe swapping out some compliance and pp buffs for research speed/construction buffs?)
Again- it's just an idea- fell free to ignore everything I said.

unfortunately I can only use the yml files. The MAN_xuantong.txt file would overwrite the original file
