First of all, I apologize for any confusion caused.
1. The work is complete.
2. The content of Mechanoid Bench 3 remains unchanged.
3. Mechanoid Bench 1 and 2 are no longer standalone mods and now require Mechanoid Bench 3.
4. Subscribing to Mechanoid Bench 1 and 2 will add additional armor options to Mechanoid Bench 3.
5. If you wish to use the original versions of Mechanoid Bench 1 and 2, you can download them directly from the provided link.

Quick question I saw a comment in the Mechanoid bench 3 page that said you where working on adding the stuff from 1 and 2 to it. Does that mean when you're done that all that I'll need to subscribe to to get all the stuff is 3 or will it be like I need all of them in a specific order to get everything from the series of mods. Also are you already done doing that or is that a work in progress still.

To be clear I had both Mechanoid bench 2 and 3 in my load order do I just uninstall 2 because it is now necessary now and that will fix it.

Uh I think when you updated this mod it did something to my save game as it's the only one that's been updated since I played yesterday but now all of my pawns are invisible. Any advice on how I can fix this. Sorry if that sounds accusatory but like I said it's the only mod that has been updated since I last played and so far reloading hasn't helped.

First, did you realize that the images under "Details" appear to be broken? How can we know what this mod adds without those images which give the detalis?

Second, what is the difference between MB2 and MB3?

Third (as a comment below asked), are MB2 and MB3 compatible with each other?

dismantling mechanoids doesn't work anymore for me. the pawn does the task, but the mech doesn't get destroyed and there is nothing produced either.

Is it just my mod load out or is this not compatible with mechaniod bench 3 ? I tried loading it before it and I cost error when I load it after 3 this will work but mechaniod 3 will cause an error

If you ever decide to update this again, I would suggest this for compatibility with VFE-Mechanoids instead of your current solution:
- Keep your component, but rename it so its easy to distinguish from the VFE component.
- Make a crafting recipe using five of your components to create one of theirs.

It was "Simple Sidearms". In the configuration of this mod, I added references of some weapons to be "used as a sidearm" and once the weapon didn't exist in the game it threw errors. The fix was to remove them from the configuration in mod settings.

@jeonggihun, yeah, and even after doing a file verification in steam and restarting the computer. The error message isn't helpful at all but it's only after *removing* certain mods.

I get a weird error *after* removing this mod:

Could not load reference to Verse.ThingDef named MechaSniperRifle

What do I do to remove this error? IS it loaded in core? I swear there's nothing in local mods folder or in the workshop folder with your number on it.

Balance change question : Can you separate mechanoids components? I have tons of them from VFE-M, they balanced to be rare for factories, late game turrets and drones. I even start to sale them. Thank you for creating quality mods :)

Seems a tongue cannot be installed after installing a mecha jaw either. Is the slot missing? Maybe the arms are missing the hand slot to.

Ah I found why these weapons are not firing because it was an issue for another weapon pack I use. Apparently these need CE support in order to fire. I am using CE.

So without CE support these just infinitely aim after the firing timer ends.

I won't check weapons, as the armor was the big draw. but atm, unless someone has done a CE patch, the armor will offer about as much protection as a cosplay xD

Should have thought to take a look if this was CE compatible... using Combat Extended at the moment, and I saw a random visitor come into my settlement with a good quality Mecha helmet on. The heat and insulation factors are high, but the actually armor protection is equivalent of normal clothing -_-

Also use more archotech garbage to dissemble mechanoids. It is so worth it. Just trust me.

If you need mechanoid components, either hack a ship and tons of mechs will spawn, or use this mod to craft the components. This is very useful when you just need a couple things built before having piles of parts from all the raids.

Trying to mess around with development mode, taking a look at a few things. I'm feeling silly i didn't notice, I'm guessing you need 5 of the same mechanoid, 5 random mechs won't work?

4) you said it provides the same number, but it provides a relatively small number of parts. Do you mean that shredding and disassembling provide the same number of WTH components per job, but since its 1 corpse vs 5 corpses, you can make a decision on which is the most valuable usage of your mech spoils?

Quick question, just trying to find out how a few things work. Of your mod, and all the above mentioned mods, I am currently running a game that has all of them. This is a bit of a kitchen sink mod, as I want to see what I like and don't. Anyway, with all these mods together, I am trying to understand first how I should be getting Mechanoid Components. These drop from mech clusters and mech ships. Your mod bench would let you get some from mechs, but you need to disassemble 5 at a time (also seems that Alpha Animal mechs don't count, or was the game just being buggy with me?) and is a fair bit of research investment before you get access. Now, using What the hack, you need a bit of the special components and pieces from mechs. Machine table and your table both produce these parts if I understand correctly... Does mech bench give the same number of WTH parts for all 5 mechs, or fewer as it gives mech components?

I'd recommend for personal usage, that you make styles for the armor and weapons to give them more of a colony appeal, and along side make more weapons as well considering the only mechanoid weapons in here are a mini gun and a sniper rifle. Perhaps a mecha lance or a mecha charge rifle, even going as far as to say a mecha mono sword that's styled like a scyther blade.

so I built a couple mecha snipers and they dont fire. the firing cone converges and that is where the pawn stays forever. other weapons work fine. am I missing something?

What I'm guessing is Zinapple loaded a save after the newer patches and probably like me ignores the red errors because I'm a smooth brain and if it's not crashing then good enough for me. Anyway, point is, I think Zinapple loaded a older save from before all these new patches and things messed up on his end.

I think the patches affected your mod too because of the mechanoid bionics you've added in.

Probably because of the new patches, I've read on other mods that it swapped parts around and did some other weird shit that modders then have to double check their stuff, more so for alien races.
