But from my experience, files from console games aren't really easier to get than PC, and besides that they're probably still the same as the PC ones.

It's usually PC games that's easier to mod than console ones.

I mean that maybe get the console version of the game, and then try to extract the files to use for modding in gmod or something else

Well I don't really think which platforms they're on affects how the game files work, especially when they're mostly still built on the same game engine (Just different versions), so there shouldn't be differences of extracting files from them if using the right tools.
(Except for those on Xbox Game Pass I believe, as the files on them are encrypted from what I heard.)

It's kinda weird as well considering how BO4 and MW19/MW2022 are Battlenet games so they'd need some more elbow grease to extract models from. But I guess people pick favorites lmao. (BTW I'm no model expert so I could be wrong on the Hard to Extract BNET models thing.)

Personally I think BO4 is among one of the COD games that got very few addons related to it on Gmod, alongside with AW, while games like BO3, and the remasters still got their full weapon list ported, even Ghosts and IW still got most of their weapons ported back in the days.

Wish someone can do more stuff from them though, same goes with Battlefield 2042 stuff.

Always nice to see addons from BO4. Everyone and their mother only makes MW19 or MW2022 ones so this is a welcome change of pace
