@Rizzo - So I was going back over a to do list and realized that I fixed the build view issue along with a few other but never published the fixes lol. So I just published them, sorry for the delay.

@MTGraves, I'm not sure either. I poked around here for a bit to see if it had been reported before and was surprised it wasn't. It could be because we have build info on our server and some mod errors get displayed to users with that enabled. In any case, I am glad you were able to figure it out. Awesome job on your SW thruster sets by the way. Our player base is loving them! :steamthumbsup:

@Rizzo - NVM - I found the issue. I wonder how it went this long without someone bringing it to my attention.
I get a fix published as soon as I can.

@MTGraves, we continue to get a mod error for all the YT_2400_Vent_ (C, L, R). Error:

Block MyObjectBuilder_CubeBlock/YT_2400_Vent_L (Nite Owl Rebel Thruster Pack (Steam:2526379814)) has grid Position outside of boundingbox, this will cause various issues with vanilla and mod scripts!
Contact author to fix (likely the <Center> tag is wrong).

@Weasellinkage - Can you try loading a new work with just my mod and see if it continues to happen and let me know what you find. I've been unable to recreate the issue you're running into.

@Weasellinkage - Does this happen in just one saved world, or with multiple different saved worlds?

Every time I try using the Razor thrusters, the next time I load the game the right one doesn't load in. It's just an empty space, sometimes with the red glow hovering in the air, but the space is still occupied by the engine, I just can't see it

Great selection of different styles of thruster, the variation looks good and allows for a player to build ships for different factions without them all using the same designs. Very nice work so thanks for sharing your time and effort. Cheers mate.

@Raynor - They are Ion thrusters, but have increased stats to work well in both space and atmo.

@Kiro Von Stein - These and the Imperial Thrusters are meant more for rear Thruster or for forward thrust. We're you using them for directional thrust as well. I have other mods that when combined with the thrusters they help even out the OP thrust.

So they are really cool, look incredible. however the higher power makes it impossible to dock. tapping on a or d moves you like 10m. id love a toned down version, i like how nippy the ships are they are just impossible to land. maybe even a way to toggle between flight thrust and landing thrust like the ships in battlefront

@shephjr15 - Not sure if I can, but here it goes. The mod is set up to allow a single thruster to have a max potential of 4x atmo influence compared to a vanilla thruster. This is set up to allow players to reduce the amount of thrusters needed for lift and forward thrust. Mostly for ascetic reasons.

The mod is also setup that in order to achieve max influence, the thruster has to be fully powered, anything less will reduce the influence in atmo and the acceleration and max speed while in space as well. This is to balance out the over powering force that the thrusters provides compared to the vanilla thrusters.

Not sure if that provides you the answer you're looking for. But the mod is designed for players to have fun with their builds, not so much for survival style play.

I'm a little confused about the thrust capabilities as far as mechanics.

In the base game, ion and atmospheric thrusters are both affected by atmosphere, defined as planetary influence, on a sliding scale of 0-1 (actually 0.3-1 for atmospheric) with proportional effectiveness at the min and max influence.

However, for those definitions in your mod, it appears that the influence min and max are 3 and 5.5, and the defined effectiveness is actually multiplied by full power rather than proportionally (so they're 4x and 6x effective of the defined thrust at minimum and maximum respectively)

Could you possibly give some insight as to their thrust capability compared to vanilla thrusters?

@worldprop - Like sfx (Sound) or particle effects? Not very practiced with particle effects and thrusters sounds are not easy to add into the game. Currently the game runs off of tying the sound the block type. To create a new sound you'd have to add a new thruster type and currently the only way to do that, that I know of would over write an existing type like ion or hydro. So unfortunately no, not at this time.

Hello, first id like to thank you for all your work for the SE community. Modders like your self have made this game greater then it ever could be. I was wondering if it would be possible to get permission to modify this mod for my needs. I have a server mod I am making and would like to incorporate these. @wotkocze - The Larger Thrusters are in the works. Due to their size, they are going to be modular to avoid visual deformities due to game restrictions. As for the Arc wings let me think about it and I'll get back with you.

Sorry but yes ARC-170, if the guns were already modeled but that's extra work but I'm looking forward to the jets for the Acclamator and Venator ships in the future

@wotkocze - I'm not sure what a Arc 175 is. The but for the Arc 170 that has the large wing plus the 2 smaller S foil wings on each side, I could but you wouldn't be able to just attach a weapon to it due to the bounding box for the item, and the S foil wings would not move without script.

Hi MR Graves, could I ask about the engine for the Star-Wars Starfighter ARC-175, it is about the ailerons that separate from each other in the x-marking like the X-wing, if it would be possible to make engines with wings, if so sorry for adding extra work

@CombatWombat - No worries. The small fighters, no. But the larger ships yes. I found them on the workshop and added the thrusters just for the picture as I just needed something to display on the mod page. The small fighters I made real quick, so theres not much to them. As for the YT-2400 - the blueprint is listed in the workshop as YT-2400 Freighter, think its an older blueprint.

@wotkocze -We'll at the moment I'm working on an Imperial Thruster pack as well as a re-vamp of an older Star Wars turret pack where we're updating models, making additions, and adding new audio. But I'll be sure to keep the LAAT in mind for the next Rebel thruster update!

@wotkocze - Glad you like the thruster items. As far as the LAAT, it doesn't really have thrusters more like vents on the back. Is that what you're referring to? Or the big rocket pods on the top that people sometimes mistake for the engines?

The update for this pack is about to be released, was thinking about other factions. Do you guys have suggestions on which engines/ thrusters you'd like to have? If so post them in the discussion above, would love to know what players are looking for. Thanks!

Modders don’t make mods to fit random peoples blueprints unfortunately so modifications will have to be done to utilize whatever mod you are trying to use. I for one am humbled to even have this to use at all.
You could always learn how to model yourself if the hard work from other people doesn’t fit your standards.

@MTGraves, What I'd do is make a version of it where the placement area of the Delta Thruster was 1 block shorter, So if one wanted to take Blinky's Delta-7 and add modded blocks to it (For personal use only of course), one could add the engines much easier as currently you cant do this due to the cockpit block being in the way, otherwise I think that the mod is great, really adds some flair to ships using the engines

@Cirrus Updraft - Its based off the Delta 7 Jedi Star Fighter. Sizing isn't going to be spot on as it needs to still work and look good with SE block sizing, but I try to get close.
