i don't remember why other then attacking from the flanks was still devastating without changing those values.

May I ask you why you set factor_attackdir_flankleft and factor_attackdir_flankright to a negative value when it is positive in Vanilla?

This mod ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2078985609&searchtext=darthmod ) also makes longer matches amazingly, I wonder if your mod does the same?
Because this Mod conflicts with Naval and I believe that yours doesn't...
