Hello! I'm working on updating Rim Effect Races, originally by Troopersmith1 and continued by Mlie through 1.4, for 1.5. Would you accept a friend request or discord so we can talk? I'd like to ask some things.

@SplashOfBlue Please read question number 3 in the FAQ. Perhaps the rimpy team just copied requirements listed in steamworkshop(for this mod) without reading mod description.
I don't use Rimpy. So, I can only advise you to contact the Rimpy team to solve this problem.

@Maverick Sorry but at the moment, this isn't possible. Since Rimeffect Races hasn't yet been updated to 1.3

@CounterSmoke They are technically "living pawns" and once dead, stays dead. If you want to rebuild them, find their platform where they originate from and repair from there with enough material.

yep fully compatable but one issue in Adult & child hood backgrounds there are repeating options like 6 geth that are all the same, & 15 Hunters all the same odd thing is I disable Rim-Effect mods & keep playable Geth in & the repeating stops not sure weather this is Rim-Effect error or an interaction error with the Playable Geth mod though but worth lookin into but its only a minor bug.

@Torkkar fully compatible with Prepare Carefully and most likely compatible with Playable Geth cuz this mod changes pawns only in Rimeffect Races [1.2].

Excellent. I was thinking about doing something like this, setting faction armors and letting other factions get biotics/omni skills :) Then boom, as if my magic someone did it for me, and far more in depth than I would have!

@AI Android I don't play with CE, so I don't know how exactly do CE patches, especially balancing. If you want help with that there is new Suggestions topic.

I can go and tell the lads at CE about making a small patch to this specifically because this was a necessity for me with the other races just walking around with flak and normal guns on, but I was thinking of going and starting up a new CE run cause I've not done one in a while and with this patch being a thing, CE uses a loadout mechanic for other npc pawn types. That being said I wanted to let you know that if you can do a patch on this end, which compared to other mods, would likely be extremely easy, that would be awesome.

you made a mistake with two factions, you have to switch eclipse and blue suns because eclipse was created by an asari and blue suns by a human
