@MegaTHEshkaF Wow! Such amazing determination, I'm quite humbled that you decided my map was worth spending all those hours on. Incredible work solving this very tough puzzle! I'm very happy to hear that you enjoyed it in the end :D
MegaTHEshkaF 20 Sep, 2024 @ 9:35am
Awesome map, took me almost a year to beat it and now it's my favourite. I think I did 6-7 sessioons 2 hours each. Every time I made a little progress and then got completly stuck. Only today when I finally realized that you actually don't need portals to teleport a cube to the button room it's all started coming together

Excellent map!My situation was somewhat similar to nobody,I tried it last year but got stuck where the reflector cube was left in the laser area, unfortunately I didn't realize I could move the regular cube, I think libby's item helped a bit stay stuck.:steammocking: But I back to the puzzle and made it today, everything is super silky smooth!Very nice, big thumbs up!

Nice map. I tried it when it was first released and put it aside after not getting anywhere for a bit, but today everything went smoothly. Thumbs up.

Great map :p2cube:
Spider_Dawg 13 Mar, 2022 @ 12:53pm
Awesome puzzle that nearly beat me, but I kept with it and finally got it, albeit with some unnecessary steps. This one had me sitting and staring at it for long periods before finally just running around trying stuff, and eventually got the right idea. Favorite for sure. Took me a few tries to figure out exactly how the sendificator works since I was unaware that my first couple of attempts dropped the cube in goo . Even after that I remained clueless for long periods, was tempted to watch a spoiler video to see if I was at least on the right track.

@Master.AKA Thank you very much for playing! It's good to hear from you again :]
Master.AKA 23 Nov, 2021 @ 2:28pm
Took me 3 hours I guess. Very neat. I liked how many times you have to shift your perspective to use the same elements in different ways. Good job.

brilliant puzzle. fav :p2cube:

Epic puzzle enjoyed :)
Mikeastro  [author] 13 Sep, 2021 @ 11:42am
It should be impossible to get an orientation that you can use to your advantage (if the cube placement helper on the sendificator did its job properly). Defeating that placement helper somehow is indeed unintended.
Towelie Clegane 13 Sep, 2021 @ 5:00am
So i understand that if i get a cube orientation placement after teleportation that fits the use i want, i disregard this as a lucky unfortunate illegal move. Right ?
Mikeastro  [author] 12 Sep, 2021 @ 11:46pm
Sendification retains the orientation of the cube. The placement helper on the sendificator puts it into a useless direction
Towelie Clegane 12 Sep, 2021 @ 9:00pm
The position f the cube after teleportation is random or precise ?
Towelie Clegane 12 Sep, 2021 @ 5:43am
total indecision vibes btw
Mikeastro  [author] 12 Sep, 2021 @ 5:31am
Yes, it just sends it to wherever the laser ends
Towelie Clegane 12 Sep, 2021 @ 5:22am
what if the laser hits a cube ? it sends it to the cube ?
Towelie Clegane 12 Sep, 2021 @ 5:17am
ok thank you
Mikeastro  [author] 12 Sep, 2021 @ 5:15am
@Towelie Clegane It sends the cube to where the laser hits a wall
Towelie Clegane 12 Sep, 2021 @ 5:11am
how does the sendificator works ? where does the cube go ?
Mikeastro  [author] 18 Aug, 2021 @ 5:38am
@Oblivious Owl Thank you very much :D Indeed, once you get past a certain point, the final moves should go more smoothly. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Oblivious Owl 15 Aug, 2021 @ 6:57pm
Splendid puzzle! The second half of the solve was surprisingly easy compared to the first for me.
Mikeastro  [author] 30 Jul, 2021 @ 6:48am
@₴ⱧɆɆ₱ĐØ₲ Thanks :] Well done solving it!

Brain hurt, solid map
Mikeastro  [author] 11 Jul, 2021 @ 6:00pm
@DiDo Killer! Thanks for playing :D Excellent work solving it in the end. It's definitely a tricky one, so it's impressive that you decided to stick with it for so long. I'm glad you liked it!
DiDo Killer! 11 Jul, 2021 @ 9:35am
This map gave me headaches for weeks. Solid difficult map. Big thumbs up!
Mikeastro  [author] 2 Jul, 2021 @ 6:23pm
@Aneonen Thank you! I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed it. Indeed, after getting through the main trouble, the rest is just a bit of a victory lap :]
Aneonen 2 Jul, 2021 @ 12:56pm
Nice puzzle! The restricted access to the sendificator supported very good shuffling moves, and the less complex conclusion after the main hump was a pleasant extension.
I think the symmetric panel is fine, and did not mislead me given that there are already many adjacent portal surfaces. The little antline tunnel was a neat touch too.
Mikeastro  [author] 28 Jun, 2021 @ 5:11pm
@Joric Thanks. Indeed, that one is just for symmetry. I might remove it, not yet sure.
@Dolphiner Excellent work solving it! This is not an easy one, especially with limited familiarity with the sendificator. I'm very happy to hear that you liked it :D
Dolphiner 28 Jun, 2021 @ 12:53pm
Wow,
I'm really not used to sendificators so this puzzle took me about two sessions to complete, but all the logic was brilliant. Very easy favourite!
Joric 28 Jun, 2021 @ 6:05am
Replayed once more. Sending the regular cube to the OR gate is the core of the puzzle, very nicely sequenced counter-intuitive moves. I didn't use the portalable panel to the right of the pedestal button for the regular cube dropper though, I guess it's just for the symmetry.
Mikeastro  [author] 28 Jun, 2021 @ 3:41am
@lapicidas Haha thanks! I wonder how you ended up with the old version, even after the update. I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed it in the end :D
@Denis [Rus] Спасибо за игру! Эта загадка действительно довольно сложная :cozycrashfish:
Denis [Rus] 27 Jun, 2021 @ 10:59pm
Для меня это максимальная сложность! Отличный тест! :okey: :lunar2019deadpanpig:
lapicidas 27 Jun, 2021 @ 9:32pm
I just noticed that i had played the previous version, after the update one of the portal areas makes sense of course :steamhappy::steammocking:
lapicidas 27 Jun, 2021 @ 9:08pm
Very clever sendificator puzzle
I felt similar @Leo, placing a cube on the conductive plate between the both closed fizzlers was the trickiest part. As a player is used to the fact that your cards only contain things that are actually needed, the two superfluous portal areas have also caused some confusion. I would definitely leave it in :steammocking: And in contrast to @marKiu, I particularly like it when something can be activated by different triggers, which always adds to a logical challenge :steamhappy:
Mikeastro  [author] 27 Jun, 2021 @ 6:24pm
Leo Yep, that is indeed the most intricate part. Glad you enjoyed it overall! And the fact that there are two surfaces there is just for symmetry, no deeper reason. Perhaps I should remove one of them. I'm also happy to hear that you liked the aesthetics! Indeed, I put in a tiny bit more effort than usual :]
@marKiu Thank you very much for playing! I agree with you, and I'm happy that we also agree on the double connection being worth it in this case :] Glad you liked it!
marKiu 27 Jun, 2021 @ 5:15pm
Great map! I usually don't like it when elements can be activated by two different triggers but this time it's absolutely worth it. The back and forth and reuse of elements is insane for such a small map!
Leo 27 Jun, 2021 @ 10:12am
Well, for me the whole puzzle was figuring out how to bring the 1st cube into the area with the conductive plate connected to the OR gate. That took me a loooong time to achieve, but the rest of it unfolded almost automatically. It's definitely a very clever puzzle with quite subtle states. I do see how there are 2 portal surfaces in the entrance area for player's convenience, but I'm not sure why there are also 2 surfaces on the same wall in the standard cube spawning area. The aesthetics were also stunning, one of your best maps in that regard! Oh and by the way, I found an unintended move that may or may not lead to alternate solutions (I haven't done the maths), here it is: https://youtu.be/r7jXKL7CTSs
Overall a very interesting puzzle, and definitely great practice with the sendificator!
Mikeastro  [author] 27 Jun, 2021 @ 6:04am
@jandlml Thank you :D Excellent work solving it. Thanks for the reward :cozycrashfish:
@Joric A perfect solution! I've put the difficulty at 5/10 for now.
@Omega Another perfect solution! Your unintended moves are interesting, but I do not see how you would set that situation up, and even if you did, why it would be useful... The other portal surface is there just for the convenience of the player.
