I have looked at many Streewview pictures of how American style lamps are arranged. The basic is that they are on opposite sides of the intersection. To me it looked like they were giving a lane open signal. Depends on who you tell which way the light is facing. Looking in LA, at a T intersection there can be up to 2 lights facing both ways for a lane.
At some point they will be replaced on older roads or a rethought package will be done.
And also petogaming38, if you get BOB you can replace all the traffic lights with what you want
2. 1rtl roads are designed to provide a right turn lane and a left turn lane, while maintaining the pavement width of a 6 lane symmetrical roadway, in addition to 3 straight passing lanes.
3. One user indicated in a comment that the high capacity road sections should be set at the catagory 60 instead.
1. Is there a symmetrical 8 lane road somewhere that i've missed or are they not intended to be included?
2. What is the purpose/intended use of the wider 3+5 asymmetrical roads that are labelled with 1rtl as opposed to the narrower four unit 3+5 roads that match the width of other roads?
3. This is less a question and more of an observation/suggestion, but I have noticed that the speed limits of the larger roads are somewhat inconsistent- most of them are set to 50, while some are set to 60, which is what i'd expect for roads of this capacity. The ones that are at 60 are fairly arbitrary so it doesn't seem like a deliberate design choice- could you possibly take a look at standardizing the base speed limits for these? Sorry to impose!
Either way, thanks for the hard work, and have a good day. :)
I could only link the appearance of those without a mod to that.
