Another issue with the coach is that every time I shoot it unaims.
I'd prefer it to play a recoil animation that doesn't completely un-aim it.

Love the reload animation on the coach, by the way.

Right - the coach gun is actually just a full-length shotgun by my standard.

I feel like it'd be cool to have it labelled as a Double-Barrel and then have a gun that is actually shortened to 20".

The other thing is that the "Coach" doesnt feel like it shoots beyond about 20 meters - there's no visual feedback for the rounds (no glow / tracer) and nothing gets hit so it feels like I'm shooting blanks.

Hey Mac? Watch the second YT video up in the screenshots and wait for the M1887. It's the second gun that is shown in the second YT clip called "SHOTGUNS". Look closely at reload.

Well... if we're talking technicalities, double barrel shotguns (including Coachguns) more likely than not saw unofficial service in WWI & WWII on the Eastern front by the Russians, as well as some being exported to Vietnam to supply their guerrilla soldiers. Cause when you're desperate for guns, ANYTHING will do...

so i separated it instead.

I tried doing it the time where i'm doing the coach gun but i encountered some ammo pool bugs..

I suggest making the multi-shot variant of the Coachgun an alternate fire mode for the normal Coachgun.

It was, but shotguns were a rarity in the European theater, most of the time they were used in the Pacific.

Hell, the M1897 actually even saw usage in Korea and Vietnam, albeit being an uncommon sight due to its age at that point

The M1897 wasn't used in WW2, everything else is correct however!
