It's too bad it has to have those sights. Would you consider stretching out a M16A2 model and create a Frankenstein Armalite AR-10B?

Probably because you cant have removable ironsights on M14 mods, so the only way not to obstruct optics in using lowprofile ironsights

@Hanta: it's because of the caliber the M110 uses. M16 has a smaller one. The choice was pinpoint.
