I don't agree with your mentality at all!
Some people aren't looking to "explore" the world of Kenshi.
Some people, example; "content creators," might be looking to find the write look for a specific character creation in order to tell a story. By not including the location of this recruit, you're effectively making people waste more time. I always find it EXTREMELY obnoxious when mod authors do this! Put a spoiler warning, do something, but list the location.

@iBeToxin: So people can be surprised, play the game looking adding many extra opportunities for fun and adventure and having tried enjoy the reward more when they find them. :)

Why can't you just list the locations we find your characters in all your mods?

@Mello: Yes, you downloaded and installed MCA, breaking every custom race in your game. Now you have to go back in and manually add the MCA anim suite to each individual race. Instructions on the MCA website.

it work but i am having problems with the animations ....... she fight but no swing nothing at all .... to be honest none of the other mod with characters like ZORO , Tifa and Mother Of Dragons are no working fighting holding the katanas and no move ...........there is a way to know why is doing that ? meaby Genesis is making it no work ?

@Doc Morbid: That wasn't just another modder, that was blood dragon, a close friend and supporter of mine..Yes I often find my mods spawn mods, my Witcher 3 spawned no fewer than 9 witcher 3 mods, I got russian chinese and NORM map changes..everyone wanted a piece! I don't use genesis, it has too many compatability issues with my own work. As I don't have it I can't make compat patches for it..I am obligated to the vast majority of users who don't use genesis..x

@mopisgone You do put out a lot of high-quality graphics mods, and I'm sure that takes a lot of work. It was another modder that did the Genesis patch for the Aerith Gainsborough mod (although I'd note I have yet to find her in the swamps). It seems like it wouldn't be that hard to make a mod that puts a particular character from another mod in a particular city from another mod even still... I've never cracked open the FCS other than for platoon editing if something gets bugged beyond use.

This is a general discussion so I was more asking 'Why hasn't ANYONE put out a mod that puts this character somewhere you can find her in Genesis?', not so much 'Why hasn't mopisgone--?'.

I don't want anyone to feel called out or anything. I just see people doing stuff or other mods and wonder why not this one?

@Doc Morbid: Its a good idea and interesting thoughts The fact is I struggle enough just patching/modding Kenshi, without taking into account evey last mod that every other mod studio comes up with..where are the genesis crew's mopsisgone mod race patches? They don't exist..I grow weary of constantly having to make patches of my own work just to help other peoples mod orders out! I am modding Kenshi vanilla, I cannot create ten compatability patches for every mod I make. Also I have to give credit to Kenshi crew as well as Taleworlds for creating games where you do not get 'more health' there is no such thing in real life, I am glad some games exclude this RPG mechanic, which is a convention rather than reflective of reality. Remember you can mod the game yourself and share the work, compat patches are useful for the community x

Also of note, I'm thinking that Genesis patches for characters that are 'important' like Sansa Stark, or anybody who's supposed to be a noble, aspiring king or queen, someone that's supposed to be a faction head that's trying to take over the world... It should at least double their body part HP on all parts. Genesis includes Legendary weapons, I believe Excalibur from Avalon is readily available, there's something like an arbalest or ballista crossbow, and all of these things can do something like 250 damage even with global damage at 50%.

This isn't a complaint about Genesis. I think starting out with weapons so rusty the fight ends when someone faints from heat stroke and then Legendary weapons are limb and head hewers is the way to go... but someone who's a legendary person shouldn't be one-shot in full heavy armor, either.

Is there a Genesis patch for this? I think Genesis changes Catun, so I've encountered Sansa's faction, but not her. This is with a game that started after installing the mod.

@DeclanFrost: Yes she is, greenlanders don't come this beautiful..one face one race..thats the deal in Kenshi sadly. Yes I do know how, but cannot step you through it as I don't have MCA any longer, it clashes with my race mods AND my custom animation suites :p Try the MCA workshop page as it is their mod, not mine..x

Is the recruitable sansa her own race? Alternatively, do any of y'all know how to add MCA animations to her via FCS because I don't know how to do it with workshop mods.

@Reznick: Yeah, we figured out it was his 18+ mod doing the damage. Its your 18+ mod cher, it uses the same method to override the partmaps.

@y-man: This is a very interesting consequence of a mere race mod..yes the part maps are a requisite part of the mod..congrats! You've managed to create a new effect! If an unwelcome and unintended one..as you can see from the screenshots, everyone is working fine on my end, that's just my mod plus vanilla, maybe you have a conflict somewhere nothing to do with my mod? But do test. Run your rig and sansa, see what happens, if it works then its a conflict with another mod. I will obs tend towards blaming that mod whatever it is rather than my own -tested to perfection- gold, but lets test before we jump to conclusions, let me know how the test turns out..x
