Long Throw is for some weapons like Apsel's Arsenal Overhaul, which has two "throw modes". One short and long, it just makes it compatible with that subsystem.

The loadout changing anytime is a failsafe for mods that change your loadout without requiring a respawn. (i.e. loadout changer, Improved Weapon Pickup, etc.)

Both options are just there for mod compatibility.

I'm confused of what happens if i don't do recommended things, what makes "Toggle Throw Mode" necessary? I tested it and as example, it just shows a text of "long throw" under the icons when i turn it on which seems very unnecessary to mind. Even more confusing, "If my loadout changed at any time", what do you mean? how and what can it happen and how is it even a proplem?

i sorta wish it had the Call Of Duty Modern Warfare style grenade throw....it would make Ravenfield alot more tactical and it would make the game more simular to Modern Warfare

G, H, J by default depending on which slot they got assigned to. You can configure them in the mutator configs.

I didn't use the hud when most of these bugs happened, but when I did it did show as an overheal. Could be a problem with the overheal not getting locked to 0 when it is set to 0

Huh, not sure where the health from shooting enemies is coming from. Could be a weird interaction with something else. Are you using my HUD mods? When you overcap, does it show the bar showing how much you've overcap?

There's also additional bugs with the health system, you sometimes randomly get health for shooting enemies or the health gets overcapped out of thin air, even though the overcap was set to 0 and etc.. I never really got what caused these issues, but I'm just letting you know that they exist

I have also noticed that the stim boost speed works, even if the box is unchecked, thus, you need to have the speed boost set to at least 1, otherwise the value by default (for me at least) was 0, thus, you don't get healed and can't move for certain duration, since the boost gives you a null movement speed.

Since these setting were default for me in beta branch, it broke the mod and I legit though the mod simply didn't work, thus, the stupid "please fix" comments

If I recall correctly, it was because before the update, values used to accept dots and not commas, not it's the other way around, so for example, if a value was 1.5 before the update, in beta branch it will be automatically changed to 0 and you need to change it to 1,5 for it to work properly.

This is only a theory of mine of course, so nothing is set in stone, but I do believe that this does happen.

no need for that, I have figurated out the problem

for some reason, if you use the addon (and many other addons with changeable settings) and change to beta branch, some of the custom settings values in addons will change to 0, thus ,not work. Had the same happen to custom health and balance mutators by Lordaloa, I didn't think the same could happen to this as well.

For some reason, i can't use 3, 4 and 5 as a quick throw bind, it won't even quick throw. quickthrowing only works when i use 4, 5 and 6 as a bind instead

Excellent mod, worked perfectly whenever my grenade aim wasn't terrible. Unfortunately seems to conflict with "Magazine system", which will only give me one starting mag if this mod is also on. Completely recommend for anyone not using the Magazine system mod.

6, 7, and 8 are too far away and defeat the purpose of a hotkey. I might as well just manually select the item in that case.

Sure but again why choose such a horrible toolkit heh. This is why I write code from scratch but honestly this kinda begs for the joke Unreal Engine has no competition heh. Though despite that most update along with the engine rather than ignore updates and try to do a major jump years later...that's just pointless hard mode.

Yeah this and Tarkov are about all I play anymore. I keep waiting for this mythical 2020 port. Just being able to use a dark flipping UI! However Unity 2017 has so many Fing bugs it's unreal. I can't imagine how/why anyone would ever choose to work with that.

@Meowpocalypse yeah, hopefully the move to 2020 helps address some underlying issues with the game. Strangely though, I can't get enough of this game though. Broken as it is sometimes it's a game I genuinely enjoy and have grown to love lol.

--I posted, jumped back into game to test a change to my map...was jumping down a flight of stairs and noticed BLAM! My mouse input was wrong. Yup go into options...RF change my mouse to 0 again while playing the game...everything is so broken and disjointed.

I hear that. Frankly it's all a tad scary hence my duct tape on toast remark. Doing stuff that someone you don't know can just arbitrarily change and break down the line for no real reason isn't fun. I have enough issues with how broken things are for map making/audio. This is kinda why I'm dragging my feet on my weapons...that and the fact SR has everything on such old broken version of Unity I have to use an old broken version of blender to do the weapon animations.

@Meowpocalypse Haha I appreciate that you're detailed with the bug reporting. Admittedly, the code for QT's a little inefficient at parts. Mostly due to it being written while I was still learning Ravenscript. I may rewrite it at some point, but for now I'm satisfied with the fact that it works lol.

Text input doesn't allow much and as a developer I try to work through all potential variables to narrow things down. It gets a little verbose. I can't stand people that give you "it doens't work." Well F that sure helps narrow things down.

@superman609 This does nothing with regards to actually modifying your loadout once you spawn. There's a mutator that does that, but it's made by someone else. Check what you have installed. If it persists, try verifying your game cache.

Also as for the issue with gear slot to quick throw slot, it adjusts on how much gear you actually have. So say you only have QT valid items in slot 5 and 6, those items will be assigned to QT slots 1 and 2. Currently no plans to change this as it's a bit of a headache to do so rn, but it may see a change in the future.

@Meowpocalypse woops yeah, I'm actually in the middle of addressing that. So the problem is, vanilla grenades have the tag as "GRENADES". Some others have "Grenades". The AO grenades have the tag "grenades" lmao. Give me a second to push the update to address this issue.
