If you want those guns in those calibers though, i recommend checking out the BW Mod, which adds both MG4 and MG5

i have put CBA_556x45_G36 mags into AKs and the magazine actually fits and doesn't clip (the drum is kinda crazy as well but it works)
now what i have to know is what else do i have to change ? recoil ? sound ?

to do his guns in .300 blk and 7.62 NATO, but if he can't, it'd be cool to get the Promet & Type 115 from you in those calibers. NI Arms + its ACE compat mod do a good .300 blk, and both ACE and KA Weapons Pack 4 do 7.62 NATO, as I'm sure you know. So, the ammo is out there to use. To have buck shot, slugs, grenades, or 50 beowulf underslung on a gun that can also do both HV marksman shooting and subsonic rounds would be very useful.
How about a 5.56 Mk-I EMR ? Same velocity, same accuracy, less recoil, maybe a 30 round mag or stick to the 25 rnd, a little lighter. (It would not be OP, 5.56 negates that instantly)
Why ?
You know the Mk-12 SPR, a DMR based on the M16, something like that.
Why ? For some close range infantry support it is nice to have

Also gimmie some of them sweet FAL mags in AKs if you get the chance. :> Modder by the name of Anthrax did that with his Continent in Arms mod and it's kinda aesthetic. Although his is the CUP mod, I bet you could do the same thing with Western Sahara's FALs and some AK-12s or whatever. Or just butcher a bunch of guns from CUP later, but I think I already mentioned that in an earlier comment.
Perhaps save these ideas for a separate pack since that would possibly create a dependency. I am not sure if magazines obey the same rules as guns do for DLC restrictions. I don't think they do? But I am unsure.

Also can you add the SDAR as a Kel-Tec RFB? It'd take M14 magazines. I don't think that has been done yet.
As for other mods, I have thought about it! But Im not sure it will be okay with the original mod creators
An AKM with FAL mags that has the recoil pattern of an AKM is just a straight upgrade to a FAL, which makes it overpowered. Conversely, a hypothetical FAL shooting 5.56 but still has the recoil of a FAL is something that nobody will ever use.
You might already do this, but in case you don't, I strongly advise it. Anthrax made a similar change to his Continent in Arms mod after I brought up this imbalance issue. It's a little extra work, but definitely well worth it.
I've been wanting to see a Groza with some funky alternative mags.
This mod has my support merely for the fact that it makes the Katiba shoot 5.56 in real life instead of dumb made-up caseless rounds because ArmA 3 alpha devs decided "it's a feature, not a bug" that guns don't eject casings... despite the fact that the in-game model shows casings...
As soon as I saw the XMS I knew I'd have to stick a Promet mag into that thing
