you click on metallic fade in the list on the left, then you can change the color using the color palette in the upper right.

I painted the truck fade metallic blue and would like to change it to a different color, but I can't. I changed the color to metallic orange then selected metallic fade and it goes back to blue. What am I doing wrong?

Cool idea...gonna be on several of my trucks...appreciate the ability to use my own base color. Great job.
