What I said is, shell-by-shell reload is something I specifically did not want to happen when I made this mod. But alternatives are possible in the future.

There are other AA-12/USAS-12 and probably even Saiga-12 mods out there that do that. The point of my experiment was having to avoid doing this.

But if I bore myself to the point of updating and making alternative versions of my old mods (which is probably never gonna happen anyway), I might consider other animation sets.

It's faster. It takes like 0.3 seconds instead of 1 second, but I think that's the limit. I'll send you a message with the video.

Super cool stuff, but what if you add another sequence in the end with
"activity "ACT_VM_RELOAD_LOOP" 1
with 1 frame and like 1000 FPS? wouldn't that make the gradual refill faster? At least in my head it sounds like it'd be

The only noticeable problem I find in the mod is that it hits while I reload the weapon instead of filling up at once it fills up gradually and is too annoying
