I am having a weird problem with the base. One of the top solar panels was blown up and I cannot replace it, every time I try, the panel just falls to the ground (through the blocks below it) and I have to pick it up. I am placing the panel in the exact same way the one in the back is placed. From what I can see, nothing else was destroyed. I am playing in Reforged Eden.

Anyone know what might be happening? Its the panel on top front of the base (furthest from the door).

Thanks SheelGhost101! Yeah, I should have put miniguns and not cannons on them. I was looking at the range thinking cannon turrets could hit stuff farther out. Thanks again!

This is a nice starter but for Reforged you end up having to swap at least one of the cannon turrets for a minigun turret. Because of shell travel time, cannon turrets just can't hit Zirax bombers unless manually controlled.

you are very welcome @jrandall ive been following you and spanj for quite some time it was you two that got me into these games now i cant stop playing them lol every thing that ive subscribed to on your workshop mate has always been complete unless im overlooking something but eaaither way it is very rare you make a mistake i watch your streams on YouTube i loved that egg creation you did it was awesome i didn't even know that was possible till i watched your video now i cant stop building in empyrion lol

Thank you Kula808 and startac43! @startac43, well, I do make mistakes. :) I miss things somethings, forget to add something important now and then. Well, I try to not repeat mistakes at least. But, I have had to patch a number of creations to date do to overlooking something or missing something. But thank you anyway! :) And thank you all again!

Nice, Fast easy to build base to get you up and going. Both Vanilla and RE Lev 7. Also has matching turrets

@jrandall your welcome mate @jorgodan Randall never makes mistakes on his finished release I should know I'm subscribed to every single item he has released I have tested this base and I see no issues with it at all also the 189004 CPU you stated was objects I think you need to re-read the description mate and gets facts correct there isn't 18 thousand and odd devices that number your reading is re CPU usage it clearly states to put a CPU in the bay marked b which you can see in the screenshots jrandell doesn't and should need to change anything as I've extensively tested this build both on re and on vanilla and I mostly play on vanilla

It is worse than it has been ever before dealing with the differences between vanilla and RE. I want to support both. It makes it extra challenging. I DO NOT want to say this is for RE only when all vanilla players needs to do is add 1 basic CPU core in spot labeled B. If i did that, then vanilla players would overlook it. Just release 2 versions then? There is no way I would release 2 versions of something with 1 block difference. Change the title graphics to list 2 sets of stats? Well, that is the best of the 3 suggestions. I will consider it but maybe you should read the description and look at the stat screens for both. @startac43 Thank you!

everyone can make mistakes, including Jrandall. this is not a problem. I respect him very much and also use some of his objects. I just wanted to point it out to him.
If you look at the vanilla CPU statistics screen you can see 189004 in red. That's just about T2. CPU calculation is switched off, otherwise it would be 11%.
Only "reforged Eden" should be on its cover picture and everything would be fine.
The text then says that a T2 core is required for vanilla if you want to use it in the vanilla. What is so bad about it? Jrandall is not a god.

also id like to know where the 186000 devices are as in the screenshots you can clearly see how many devices there are on the stats jrandell isnt and never will be a false advertiser hes a very respected human being with a life and puts time out of his day into his builds devs dont need that kinda feedback on there items just stating a fact

Firstly id like to say what a awesome job you've done with this base its nimble and can be placed almost anywhere needed even used as an outpost @jrandall secondly id like to inform you @jorgodan this isnt false advertising all of jrandells work is commitment and solely made by himself false advertising is advertising a item that does not meat the recommendations stated jrandell stated all what was included in the base and has even gone to extreme lengths to advise you about it.

as a ex game dev criticism in my case used to be good but when you go around saying one of the two best builders of empyrion is false advertising that is just straight up not on

the base is indeed a CPU tier 2 for reforged Eden its a tier 1 for vanilla as jrandell explained re doesn't charge as much as vanilla in building costs if your unhappy then dont download you are aware that jrandell is one of the most dedicated and respected builders of this game aswelll as spanj

I'm not a hater and I have great respect for every creative work that was published here in the workshop. I know how much work there is, because I have already built and published objects myself.
It was a very simple and factual review. I can understand the idea of Jrandall, but in Vanilla this base is a full CPU T2 base and not a T1. If someone searches for Vanilla CPU T1 he ends up wrong here. Against this background it would actually have been clearer to publish 2 separate versions. Maybe the translator brings a bit wrong emotions in my comment. For that i`m sory.

Thank you all! @Jorgodan, I made this for the intent to work for Reforged Eden, keeping it tier 1 and putting in as much storage and function as I could. When I brought it into vanilla, vanilla charges a lot more CPU for storage. I wanted it to work with both and it can if simply a basic CPU core is added to a marked location if using for vanilla. I figured that is a lot better solution as to only release for reforged eden and I do say that and show all the stat screen shots with CPU costs. And thank you all again!

@Jorgodan needs to build his own base and leave the toxicity out. There is a much more respectful way to offer suggestions or request clarification than whining about his lack of investigation into this blueprint.

JRandall was clear in his description. He was clear in his video. He did this on his own time.
For that, we the community are grateful to him. What's "unfair" is the snarky comments from confused free loaders.

Thank you for making a small and cost effective starting base that includes Solar Power and does NOT include Growing Plots. Those two things are the biggest time consumer of setting up even a simple base.

I'm talking about the vanilla version, of course. It would have been nicer to offer a real T1 vanilla base. The "simple thing that is so difficult to do"

This is fake advertising.
It is most definitely not CPU T1 with 186000 devices and will not work that way. And then to tell the user in the "small print" that he still has to install a T2 core is simply unfair.
