sorry, but i'm a little confused. i have xskin but don't see the weapons in the reskin menu? am i doing something wrong?

To access this set, you can use XSkin to freely re-skin whatever you want into these weapons, or if you're more of a DIY config tweaker, you can use Weapon Skin Replacer or Template Master's config.

it's the concept of Ghost Templates

Sorry, it's just that it doesn't really say that you don't plan to update it anymore(in fact with the #2 for reasons it still says you were planning on adding weapons). Yes I missed the changelog, but I assumed it was out of date or something for one reason or another.

Can you update this to include forerunner, devil's ruin, sunshot, trespasser, (all pistols), conditional finality, (shotgun), and cloud strike (sniper rifle)?

For people with troble finding the weapon with XSkin , while in the skin config menu, you need to turn filter:owned off(on the botton right corner), so you can find those weapon(and many other shxt you never thought that you could get)

Thank for the awesome mod, i have a question, i see dual pistol guy in the vid have animation shot 3 times like fanfire skill, im testing all ur pistols with dual pistol mod and none have that animation, but with one hand it does for Last Word and Last Word Ornamental, do i miss some mods? thank in advance, sorry im very bad at english

I cannot see any weapon options nor for the skins, i have been using the different filters etc, i am at Plasma Rifle tech atm, i don't know what i'm doing wrong, i am using a lot of mods but that shouldn't be the problem could it?

It shouldn't matter compatibility wise actual weapon mods, all this does is grant players the option to reskin existing actual weapons to look like something else. Make sure your filters are toggled as needed [Weapon slot, type, owned, usable] as any of those things can hide what you are looking for.

Ideally you want to maintain some semblance of logic behind what you reskin so making SMGs/Bullpips look like one another is fine as they're both still soldier weapons and roughly the same size, but if you can make SMGs look like SPARK cannons if you wish which results in soldiers carrying 3-4 metre long weapon placements because you told the game that's what you wanted. Nothing stopping you from doing that, however.

Are these incompatible with Iridar's Five Tier Weapon Mod? Also maybe I'm an idiot for adding these mid-campaign because I'm not seeing them in Reskin Weapon category. Is there any way around this?

The new AR, Dead Man's Tale, "fires" twice sound wise however the first shot the rifle isn't even in a firing position as the aiming animation is still taking place.

do you plan on adding attachment support to the guns later down the line? i think it would be a cool idea for attachments to show up on the gun maybe even if they dont have attachments like they do in destiny

Ignition Code:Doesn't actually count as a grenade launcher in-game
What's that mean? What kind of weapon does it actually belong to? Will this lead to animation problems?

It is written in the description, but I don't know why the warning was missing. This mode is not available without XSKIN and is not visible in the default filter. This is because the player is registered as a weapon that has never been acquired.

@Brandon_916 @Brandon_916 Have you ever turned off the 3rd filter (on the right of the slot filter) among the small filters displayed on the bottom right on the screen to change the weapon skin? I just turned off the 3rd filter and all the skins are visible.

and modders will have to be kinder to people.
People don't use mods for a simpler reason than you think.

@VertigoJockey The XSkin mod lets you do that without changing the weapon mods if you toggle off 'category' and 'can use' or whatever the class limiting option is

The Splicer weapons having conventional projectiles is intentional. I believe it's how they appear in Destiny, going by Delta's GMod addons for them. It's the best source i have, as i barely play Destiny. If it isn't how they appear, i state in Known Issues that not every weapon is 100% accurate to how they appear in Destiny for a reason.

The Ignition Code is set up like that on purpose, as the base game Grenade Launchers aren't set up the same way as the game's other weapons, and i wasn't sure if Template Master could re-create that.

As for the Soujourners, it was a case of having a box not ticked in it's Projectile archetype. It's fixed now.

I should have the update from a few hours ago so checking through the changes.

Ignition Code possibly isn't flagged as a Grenade Launcher as using the XSkin mod I need to turn off Category in order to have it appear.

Soujourner's Tale is still making no actual sound when firing.

Shattered Cipher sounds fine but the projectiles fired don't seem consistent with both the firing sound and similar weapons such as Farewell and Chroma Rush that both use more energy based projectiles while Shattered Cipher uses ballistics.

I think the high-mixed bass on some of the weapons was skewing my perception during volume balancing, so i went through and adjusted all the weapon's audio files and sound cues so that they're hopefully balanced better.

Is the Soujourner's Tale shotgun meant to have similar weapon sounds to the Farewell pistol and Chroma Rush rifle? Currently Soujourner's Tale is almost silent when firing and with it's similar appearance to the 2 aforementioned weapons I would have at least expected something louder if not similarly "alien" sounding when used.

Now that I've gotten over my previous excitement... I don't see them in the reskin menu. The old mods worked but this one, I got nothing. Is it supposed to work out of the box, or do I need to mess around with an ini to make it work?

This is wonderful, I'm so happy about this mod. I really hate how the MGs/Cannons in the base game look and how they're used in the animations, and this mod made me pick up the game after not playing for a bit, especially because it has Hammerhead, my favourite MG from D2. I'd really like to see Black Armoury's Blast Furnace and Tatara Gaze. I would also like to see Linear Fusion Rifles particularly Line in the Sand and Tarantula.

@cavaris (i hope i spelled it right) it's a template mod, meaning this weapons don't exist in game, you have to give the look of this weapons to others via xskin or weapon skin repleacer, or you can make new ones with this looks with Iridar's template master, but you don't need the modbuddy
