In the SSMMP, the bed is literally the same as the large grid, with a wall, partial ceiling, etc, just made available to use on small grid.
For yours, the bed is a compact item that could easily be tucked into a rover or shuttle.
They're two different blocks, just sharing the same ID, but I'd say both have different use cases and would be good in a single game - whether you're building out a nicer room in a larger small grid ship, or just want to have a bed tucked into a corner somewhere for your cargo ship with a tiny interior.
Something manageable in size, that can fit a more modest build, that doesn't also give God like levels of power. An RTG does look like it would fit the bill :)
Not sure how Apollo 13 had one that caused all sorts of drama (it was supposed to be left on the Moon) and the one we have for small grid ships is the size of a small ship.
Maybe something more modestly sized pushing megawatts as opposed to giga.
Industrial/buggy/rover cockpit with more LCD screens shoved in them (for example, in the Industrial cockpit, maybe three screens at the bottom instead of the singular one, maybe even, if you were to go crazy with it, more screens to the left/right of the top set of LCDs); for the buggy, maybe some screens mounted to the top of the roll cage similar to the Industrial cockpit, and for the rover, maybe a few screens on the 'top' of it angled toward the driver for a better reading angle.
Just a non-conveyored 'container' you toss a datapad on, 1x1x1 small grid side, nice and thin (dunno if it's possible to make it so if a datapad is actually stored in it if it can be visually displayed, and not display it if one is not, if not, would probably be best to just always show a datapad in it).
On large grid it could be a large shelf that has boxes of datapads on the shelves, for like mass storage
Also:
'Bracket' for both large and small grid, just something small and unobtrusive, corner shaped, that's corner shaped to let you mount something. I.e. how people keep using the neon lights corner, but purpose made for it.
Small grid ATM/vendor/dispensing machine (perhaps also not just porting it over in the same size but a new, compact look for them as well for small grid)
Half-slab based LCD - would fit in well for very compact builds that don't use full blocks for the exterior, but you wanna squeeze in that last LCD.
