This was a great mod, but now it makes the game crash due to some kind of missing audio file error.

Who do we gotta pay to get this working again?

Update it only works some of the time still Jump jets cause the game to crash works in instant action didn't work in campaign.

For those wondering I believe I have fixed the mod's jumpjet issue it's a 2 second fix with little to no need for modding knowledge. If you go to your workshop content 784080/2544179378 folder you'll see 2 folders and a file that says mod.json open that with notebook and change gameVersion attribute to 1.1.328 and that should update the mod for DLC 3 and hopefully fix the issue I did this myself after reading about it on nexus and thus far it's worked for me I am no modder but I hope this will at least alleviate the issue since this mod seems abandoned.

Any chance of updating the mod for the DLC3? 'Cause MW2 Betty is so much more useful, as opposed to MW5 one being only air-supporting.

Posting to corroborate the below messages regarding DLC3 release crashing. Jump jet usage crashes the game.

I've just noticed a weird issue when using this mod: It reverses the enemy targeted mechs' "paper dolls" front targeting diagram, so they are a mirror image of what they should be. This makes it so the target mech's, left arm is displayed on the left side of the diagram as if it were the right arm, instead of being on the right side as if it's facing you.

Needless to say, this makes it really tough to keep track of which side of the mech to shoot when it's damaged.

I wouldn't have expected this mod to affect that, but it does even when no other mods are activated. Anyone else seeing that?

Love this mod suggestion with YAML they added back thermal imaging could that be Image enhancement voice over and for night vision use the BB from MW2 "Light Amplification Engaged"

So what does this do exactly?
Does this just add the Madcat 2c to the game?

This is one of the best mods out there, I really hope you find time to update it for the latest DLC.

oh ok it brings me back to my childhood.

I'm not gonna ask what this does but i'll download it.

I also experience the co-op crash bug. It occurs when (a) this mod is enabled, (b) I am playing co-op as the *guest* (host works fine), and (c) we enter one of a few specific missions. Not every mission does it. The missions that do cause it cause it repeatably. Disabling this mod always fixes the crash.

I noticed the start up voice is from the MW2 mercs betty, and some of the sounds are of varying qualities. Do you want higher quality sound files? I've got all of sounds from MW2 31st Century Combat and MW2 Mercs. Do you want them?

is it just me, or is the startup sequence sounds WAY TOO LOUD.
Even having every volume slider down to minimum blasts out my speakers.

Her saying the current ambient temperature after powering everything up. That is something I really remember and miss.

Mechwarrior 2, Ghost Bear's Legacy, and Mercs needs a remaster and release on Steam. They could even add cinematics to ramp it up a bit, like Resident Evil is doing with their remasters. One of the first games I ever played on PC. Well, that and DOOM, =P (Story canon is kind of messed up, though, lol). Plus, I was always disappointed there was no final battle on Terra.

Activate this mod after the other mod it conflicts with - you might lose a single line of dialogue. Something like “weapon jammed” or the start up sequence.

I subscribed but when I go to activate it. It says it conflicts with another mod. I can't figure out which one. I really want to hear the classic.

Extremely happy with this latest version. Torso pops and mass weapon/equipment destruction are rattled off in a concise, orderly, clinical manner…just like a betty should!
