Luinithil 26 Aug, 2022 @ 9:47am
Hi, would it be possible to add compatibility for More Vanilla Biomes? Thanks!
PremierVader 30 Jun, 2022 @ 1:10pm
Hey does this mod affect performance much?
Tolodociro 30 Jun, 2022 @ 5:18am
Such a detailed mod.
Mlie 13 Jun, 2022 @ 2:18pm
Just published an addon for this mod here:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2820752251
Adds vertical ocean farms that spawn Kelp, Seaweed, Mussels and Oysters over time.
Hope it can be of use!

Can I ask what happened to your clay soldiers plus mod
sstead0706 7 Apr, 2022 @ 3:13pm
Ok I don't know why but meals made with the contents of this mod despawn when going through doors it might be the other mods I have I just thought I should give you a heads up
CrackaJack 25 Mar, 2022 @ 4:30am
this mod is awesome. termites, grubs and larvae for everyone, cheers!
Mythos  [author] 6 Mar, 2022 @ 7:37pm
Sorry for being away for so long, IRL things have kept me away from the Rim.
Pushed an update:

- Removed negative effects like food poisoning. Many folks, including myself, have been unhappy with these effects, so removing them is just the simplest solution. Difficulty should be managed by tweaking the mod menu sliders to increase/decrease drop rates.

- Added chance to find steel slag chunks and wood, as requested by @Frigglish.

As always, spawn rates can be modified to increase/decrease/disable items.

Doing a Neolithic play and this is perfect! Thank you!
Betute 6 Dec, 2021 @ 8:51am
Nice mod, could you add support for redwood forest and medieval overhaul?
Mitokandria (Tricks) 23 Oct, 2021 @ 11:16am
I would really love for this to tie into SeedsPlease. Adding some seeds to the loot table would be amazing.
Sunlight88 1 Oct, 2021 @ 4:34am
Interesting mod idea!! Please also support Alpha Biomes https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1841354677 and the rest of the ReGrowth biomes please :-}
Frigglish 8 Sep, 2021 @ 10:35am
A version of this, or a separate bill, that could very slowly gather wood, stone, or steel by scavenging would be an absolute godsend for Nature Primacy colonies.
Balathustrius 30 Aug, 2021 @ 6:44pm
This mod looks fantastic for the mod build I have setup, but the recent comments about having to micromanage certain foods for food poisoning/ Safe-to-eat/Dangerous-to-eat has me hesitant. Any input on your opinions regarding those issues?
StarlightSovereign 23 Aug, 2021 @ 1:13pm
Also, can you please add a toggle for food poisoning? These were all eaten by tribal people and some still are in some parts of the world without causing food poisoning, so I'd like the ability to toggle them as not dangerous food types.
StarlightSovereign 22 Aug, 2021 @ 8:21pm
Please support Dark Forest biome from Medieval Overhaul :) TY!

Can't wait to try this mod out!
Shady Suspicious Smiling Man 21 Aug, 2021 @ 6:57pm
The food having its own "scavenged" category, or at least a sub category such as , "Safe to eat", "dangerous to eat".etc would be nice, because its a pain to see what I should restrict one by one while reading the descriptions and crying in gutworms.
especially when there's so much variation of items some sorting categories will work miracles
Vartarhoz 18 Aug, 2021 @ 12:56pm
How about adding "baskets" to game that lets your pawn to carry things they collected? Can be made by wood or hay. Also nuts.
Otherwise solid mod, have my first fav and like.
smikeproject 16 Aug, 2021 @ 2:51pm
@infinite
Is it compatible with "Vanilla Extended Collection" ?
Mythos  [author] 15 Aug, 2021 @ 8:35pm
@177013 and @LaGranPesadillaDeLosNiños: I'm adding a few unique items for the Alpha Biomes and didnt want to simply replicate things from other biomes. Has been a bit slow with IRL things so bear with me.

@Πτολεμαῖος Ιωάννης: Adding in cockroaches in my next update.
dualrotorhelicopter 12 Aug, 2021 @ 8:29am
I understand someone already requested this, but steam doesn't have a like/dislike system so this is necessary. Can you make this compatible with Alpha Biomes?
Ptol 11 Aug, 2021 @ 5:40am
Cockroaches for ReGrowth: Wasteland maybe?
Wolfentanyl 9 Aug, 2021 @ 12:07am
Alpha Biomes really need a patch for this. It's really hard to find food in most of the biomes included in that mod.

I'll look into hauling.
(≡◉‿‿◉≡) 3 Aug, 2021 @ 11:22am
Same question on the pawns to haul the stuff. Any plans on that? Might be nice if it can be set on the nearest stockpile like beside you, so you can haul it altogether later. Anyways great mod for zombie theme.
BluntMan 1 Aug, 2021 @ 11:53am
any plans to allow for pawns to haul the stuff they find back before going back out, its a small thing but its always a bit odd to see them leave a bunch of stuff on the ground then go back to it. Maybe i am doing something wrong though ! Great mod thanks
Mythos  [author] 31 Jul, 2021 @ 9:58am
Added support for Dark Campfires.
Hate me 29 Jul, 2021 @ 1:50pm
Nature's Pretty Sweet is quite good mod for additional bioms.
catharsis 27 Jul, 2021 @ 9:07pm
So basically, you give your pawns the work type of scavenging and then they automatically go around the map looking for these foods? Am I understanding this correctly? Also, since it adds a new work type, do you know if it would be compatible with Complex Jobs?
Zairya 27 Jul, 2021 @ 6:10am
@Lugaru
If you meant the associated skill: Plants and Animals.

Hi Infinite & Taranchuk,

I've tried the mod the last couple days and I have 2 things I'm a bit unhappy with:
1. the icons are so small, that it's hard to find them. Especially moss and lichen.
2. after scavenging, the pawns leaves the vulnerable items on the ground. is it possible to add the haul job right after scavaenging is done? vanilla fishing expanded has this option (Do fishermen haul or so). it would prevent a lot of the scavenged food going to waste and point 1 won't matter so much.
Thank you for your time and effort!
Mythos  [author] 25 Jul, 2021 @ 8:09pm
@Lugaru - Scavenging has its own job type.
Lugaru 25 Jul, 2021 @ 5:08pm
Which job is this associated with? Also any chance of adding the ability to set bills so people stop doing it? They give a huge preference to scavenging.
Celeryscape 24 Jul, 2021 @ 7:45am
Hey small suggestion, do you think you could add a setting to the mod settings that sets the debuff for the dried mush?
Mythos  [author] 23 Jul, 2021 @ 5:16pm
@MerlinCross - Some protein sources, like frogs are full of parasites and should be cooked into the mush before being eaten. For now I am using the default gut worms and muscle parasite from vanilla RW for various items, looking into adding custom illnesses that are less impactful later.
Frogs should not be appearing in a ice shelf, can you confirm exactly which vanilla or modded biome (listed above as compatible) you were in so I can make the correction.
NoctisTheBogWitch 23 Jul, 2021 @ 8:36am
@MerlinCross: Have you tried altering the fail chance in your settings? also, some foods are unsafe, you'll want to cook them... don't try eating worms n stuff aka things riddled with parasites, or things with poison.
fery vuta 23 Jul, 2021 @ 6:59am
LOVE this mod, it's realistic and yet another mod that should've been base it's so good. I love the plethora of settings you can tweak
MerlinCross 22 Jul, 2021 @ 8:34pm
It's not bad. I tried in in an ice sheet Biome and well... it helped but it didn't solve the problem(that is food), which is kinda what I wanted from this. It was a toss up of trying to find food this way or going off and trying to beat down a few dangerous critters. Digging up Licen or those ice flowers was a god send.

Though point of note..., cook frogs if you find them. I'm not entirely sure why they were in the ice shelf, and I might be completely unlucky but every frog I tried eating put my pawn down. That was weird. Still liked this mod, will suggest.
GHOST 22 Jul, 2021 @ 1:28pm
New favorite mod, thanks so much :D
Mythos  [author] 22 Jul, 2021 @ 10:15am
@🌗🌌Vex🌌🌓 Unfortunately that would likely be outside scope of possibility at the moment. I like the idea, but not something I would pursue at the moment.
Mythos  [author] 22 Jul, 2021 @ 10:13am
@Paolini - You can ignore the red errors, they are the mod checking if a mod's biome is installed and if not notifies you and moves on to the next.

Purely informational and will not break the mod or other mods.
NoctisTheBogWitch 22 Jul, 2021 @ 6:49am
You should be able to play, even with these errors. Its just trying to load compatability for those biomes, but the biomes are missing. You should be able to ignore it unless other funky stuff happens.
NoctisTheBogWitch 22 Jul, 2021 @ 6:48am
@Paolini:
They shouldn't break gameplay, its just the biomes not being installed.
Paolini 22 Jul, 2021 @ 6:46am
Nice mod !
But i get around 50 red lines from this mod, here is one of them :
( 1.3 , they're all about AspenForest and Wastelands (never installed those biomes))
