I use Dynamic Europa and a ton of other beacon mods, the first beacon I got on a run was from this mod. Its just RnG.

Can't recall if I've ever commented on this mod before. But in case I haven't, thank you for the great mod. I enjoy the added depth, complexity and variety.

@ØG Just bad rng, the stations appear randomly or maybe the dynamic europa mod or an other mod you use change the way the stations appear but it would be better to ask its author.

Unfortunately, i don't think i've ever seen a beacon from this mod, while having it installed.. I have "Beacons Extended" and "Dynamic Europa" also installed, i've recently placed both beacon mods on top of D.E. to see if it solves my issue of not seeing these beacons..

I got a message and it goes like this: "could not find a spawn point for a Spawn action (spawn location BeaconStation (tag: beacon_bandit), skipping." Is there something i can do to fix this?

:exclamation: I temporarily remove BeaconStation_ADVBS_E6Shuttle which has been causing some issues since the previous update for some players. Don't forget to update the mod.

we downloaded the update and now the game Is freaking out. Making the host have less than 20fps constant, and sadly unplayable. If anyone has any fixes we would be very appreciative <3

- 3 new stations: ADVBS-49; ADVBS-50 (bandit) & ADVBS-51 (which comes with a drone docked)
- ADVBS-34 little cosmetic rework

I'm gonna assume it's just gonna add more Stations to the Beacon spawner right?

Hi! Great mod. Does this mod adds beacons with twists? Vanilla beacons are like just connect pre-connected wires to power.

Y'know... I look at wrecks and stations that have shuttles docked to them, and have to wonder... can you swipe shuttles from them for use with your submarine? (Assuming the vessel has a spot to accommodate said shuttle.)

Beacon and wreck mods all work together as of an update in 2022, This is one of the best mods you can drop into your game for more exploration content. I contend that adding wreck and beacon mods to vanilla while no longer strictly unmodded, it keeps the same gameplay with much more interesting variety. Keeping the game form becoming boring due to the limited number of base game wrecks and beacons.

@Blue According to the beacons extended FAQ

"Q. Is it compatible with (insert beacon mod name)?
A. Yes it is. As this mod only adds new beacons to the list, there should be no conflict."

I'm going to test it, but it should be fine! It's pretty much the mod equivalent of adding more submarines to your buy list I think.

@DITW you can remove it later without problems. Like the description says it just add more stations and don't modify any gamefiles. If you remove it, you just remove the stations added and just the vanilla ones will remain.

I've fixed the sonar bug in the bunker. Don't forget to update the mod. Thanks @RAndy for the report and for the time-saving tip. :captainsinful:

I ran into a similar issue on another mod. The problem was solved by replacing the sonar monitor. I took a working beacon - deleted everything except the monitor. And copied the desired beacon here. Perhaps this information will be useful to you.

The "Bunker_bandit" beacon is not working. Turning on the beacon does not complete the mission.

@kit.nore Hello, U can find all the specific beacon spawnpoint tags and how they work in this 2 game files: randomevents_campaign.xml & randomevents_lineardifficulty.xml. The tag saferoom is for a random beacon clown event that spawns a psycho clown. :captainsinful:

I've noticed you putting different kinds of spawnpoints with different tags. I was wondering what that does, and specifically what does the saferoom tag do?

@Slaz no Bandit NPC are not able to use them in game mechanics but they are fonctional. U can use them when monsters spawn just after u activate the station. The bunker is the only exception, the flask canon can fire in the direction it points if a movement is detected near but can't aim u specifically.
