Thanks for the fix, I read the change notes. Glad you got the repeating stuff fixed at least. The mod still shows affected by save game, I guess you couldn't get that to work.

Yeah no worries. I started a game already without this mod, when you fix it, I will slap it back in and give it a go. I like the idea of the mod, something in game to look at the city names that can generate, sometimes I forget and do not want to look up a mod info while in game.

Sure, I'll fix that as well. I don't have time to do extensive testing today but I should be able to release an update by tomorrow

It is working fine without the mod installed. So it might not be compatible with that mod right now. Until you find a fix for it.

America, England, France, Rome and Spain are the ones that have the Alternative options.

Your mod is pretty much bringing up the Alternative names in the list. It says for us to enable the Alternative names edit the ICN_Config.sql file

If you look at the city list that Improved City Names provides on their link, there is not 526 city names. There is 39 Base city names and 39 Alternative ones.

I disabled Random City Names, and it still shows up. Maybe there is an issue with Improved City Names.

American list starts with New York ends with Albany and this sequence repeats, but is not constant. I notice at some point the names do get very random, out of sequence.

It repeats, go in American, the first one is on list is New York, go down and you will see New York again, that is where the cycle starts again. It is like they are stacking on top of each other. I seen it in a few other countries.

Also is it possible to make this mod not be affected by save game?

This mod includes any city names added from other mods, so the number of cities will be very large if you have mods that add a lot of city names. In your mod list you had SeelingCat's Improved City Names mod enabled, and if you view the 2nd image of my mod here, 526 is actually the exact number of cities that America should have when Improved City Names is enabled.

As far as I can tell from your screenshot none of the city names are repeating themselves, send me a screenshot if they are because that would definitely be a glitch

I am having issues with this mod, some countries the cities will repeat over a few times, so you will see a large list.

I thought it was TCS Pedialite but I disabled that mod and it showed up still.
My only other guess that would cause this is Random City Names mod.

That's one of the exact reasons I wanted to make this mod, I was tired of looking up city names on the Civ VI fandom xD

Sometimes I would forget a capital, but the way I conquered was important to that - so I'd have to look the empire up and find a list - this will make it so much easier. Thank you!
