OH! I haven't looked at this mod in a long time... didn't realize people still played it. I've redirected a lot of my energy into my UwU series of mods.

I will look into updating this for 1.5 and 1.6 and when 1.6 officially drops.

May be a mod conflict, but I'm not getting any info on the information tab for the slimes and just them. They have been working great otherwise.

I had the wonderful idea to add this cutesy mod to my Warhammer 40K modlist. Needless to say, I can't wait for the big update!

Could you go through all of your slimes age settings?

In temperate forest map generation when setting up camp using setup camp, i keep running into

Min possible bio age (4.506474) is greater than max possible bio age (3.455242).
Min possible bio age (1.76487) is greater than max possible bio age (0.6810484).
Min possible bio age (3.12767) is greater than max possible bio age (2.043849).
Min possible bio age (3.805478) is greater than max possible bio age (2.990623).
Min possible bio age (7.106561) is greater than max possible bio age (6.206396).

I do not know if it's the slimes generating this way, but they are a prime suspect. I'll report back after more testing if I find the true culprit.

Oh! Right I decided to leave literally every award I could put on this workshop item using steam points. Making mods for other games left me with a *lot* when a couple people did the same to me and I still haven't spent them all.

I'm likely removing the plort incubator and having plorts hatch as if they were normal eggs (though, perhaps taking a while). The incubator seems to create a huge unnecessary step and also has a bug where the resulting slimes are wild....

@Phantomcreator42 I have taken most of the slime art from the game itself... altered where necessary. And I've done the artwork for things that don't exist in the game itself. I'm open to adding just about any slime from Rancher 2, so long as I can make it make sense in the context of Rimworld.

Also: I must ask, who draws the icons for the slimes? Whilst some of them certainly look like they come from the slime rancher games, others such as the budding one simply don't exist (as far as I know anyway) in those games, and a few such as the honey slime it seems are using a slightly different, if admittedly similar, icon to the games.

That aside, I love how cute the drawings are, whoever made them.

I was wondering which slimes you personally want to add next, if any? Some of the new ones in Slime Rancher 2 are rather interesting, such as the angler.

The slimes don't seem to work as intended. When you make a new plort, the slime created starts out as wild, and it's eggs laid are always forbidden (which is painful to manage, or you can just tame them so their eggs are not forbidden, which also requires manual management). The combat role slimes also can't be trained to attack, ironically.
It's also just not efficient to keep slimes at all since even with no trainability they have 50% wildness, so your pawns have to tame them over and over again. I like the concept of the mod, but in execution I feel like these are very big flaws.

Art on this mod is great and concepts are good. However I will not be running it again until significant updates are had.
When a new slime is made it is not tamed, which if done in your pin you don't HAVE to tame them, but feels odd. If they were untamable, but could herd them that would be better.
Body parts are not properly setup. Which is weird when they get hurt, though minor perhaps.
Some of the slime plorts do not have a output or breeding recipe (rock)?
Two insect jelly slimes have no difference?
Balance on plort conversion rates needs to be reconsidered, some might be too fast, but some is so slow you would need 100 slimes which is just asking for lag.
Info cards being entirely missing.
Combat slimes do not seem worth the effort, but I did not try all.
Plorts seem to always drop as disallowed.
Sorry if any of this was a mod conflict, did not run this solo. I really would love this mod once it's complete, but it doesn't feel that way at the moment. But do keep up the good work.

Is it supposed to take 5 plorts to generate 1 gold? The recipe gave me the impression it was 1 for 1, but it's definitely taking 5 for 1.

@SkunkPlaysGames Thanks for the info! I will look into this more. It's not currently generating that error for me, since I removed the custom sounds from the mod. So people who are getting the error may not have the most recent version of the mod. Try unsubscribing and then re-subscribing...

Can you add more variety to the size of some of these slimes? Just to make some look more threatening, some more cute... also, maybe look at the codebases - maybe they'll help you with your slimes?

Upon updating one of my mods to 1.4 I was receiving the same errors regarding the "No resolved grains." When googling for helpful information on this subject I came upon this wonderful mod. Unfortunately, there is no useful information out there yet, nonetheless I managed to look to my other mods to find a solution and perhaps it could be useful for you. The significant changes being to add the sunstainStartSound and sustainStopSound field, the change from clipFolderPath to clipPath and the excising of all the superfluous volume/pitch/distance parameters. As I said this still seemed to function just as before regardless of the deletion of so much information. I hope this solution is helpful to you. Have a nice day! :cozybethesda:

@TensoOn Are you playing on Rimworld 1.4 Unstable? I started getting that error as well... I have since removed the custom Slime sounds to avoid this. So make sure you have the more recent version of the mod.

@Shade I could. The machines already work without electricity, so it's a matter of sprite changes... But I dunno if I would... this mod is mostly meant to be true-ish to the Slime Rancher game... it's not really within scope to alter it to mesh completely with ever other theme. Ya know?
