I found the issue sorry had a mod that did some things with traits that I did not realize did anything with traits and removing it fixed the issue.

The Genetic Resequencing found in the Genetics tree does not seem to be working. Even after picking it I can not remove old traits or add negative traits.

I have just updated the mod to have the ascension require genetics tree finished. Please let me know if that has fixed your problem

This has not been updated since the genetics tree has been added. It referred to the old second Genetics ascension perk. I'll update it when I come back to Stellaris.

Hi there one of the requirements for the "hyper trait engineering" perk is a big question-mark and the other one is "Number of Ascension Perks is greater than 3" so since I researched everything I don't know what it could be that I am missing and I have more than 3 ascension perks activated

I am probably going to wait until the ascendancy overhaul is finished and unchanged before I do any more changes to this. It is impossible for me to catch up with the changes otherwise but I will come back don't worry.

I am going to add in the Toxoids traits (only if you have the Toxoids DLC) and add a bit more of my own flavour to them and maybe even create another tech to give access to a merged Overtuned trait with the origin.

This mod hasn't been updated in quite some time and I am in the mood for some stellaris again some time soon and was wondering if there was enough distinction between overtuned and my mod. If there is still some some issues with overtuned then maybe I will update when I am up to it.

Well, you know I am a big fan haha. I was just checking if this mod was updated and debating the same point myself.

The only trouble with overtuned is you have to take the origin, and it is still pretty weak until late game. I could see incorporating overtuned, but personally I am still looking to use your mod.

Thank you. It is good to know my mod is appreciated. I am a bio main myself and found that the "OP" traits in end game took up too much space. I also found it annoying fishing for all the right bio techs. Was going to do the same for machine but thought maybe a little OP to have synthetics at the beginning of the game.

Just the mod I was looking for. I used the expanded psionic species mod to make it competitive with machine ascension, but that left bio lackluster. I think this mod should plug that gap nicely. and I really like the origin you added!

I have hyper erudite, which is hyper smart. Hyper dumb, may need a different name but can do.

I think the next hyper traits you can add are Hyper Smart and Hyper Dumb. Hyper Smart turns species into Einstein on steroids while Hyper Dumb basically makes species very animalistic and tribal like the humans in both Planet of the Apes and Battlefield Earth. (Search up Battlefield Earth if you dare. That movie will scar you for life.)
