Just asking, is there any chance to incorporate with vanilla expand mods? It's nothing big deal its just I always found myself building small base so this mod is a must for me but VE also have many interesting toys to play with specifically the linkables and piped network for nutrient past. It would be great if there's a way to patch you two together:csgoa:

I'm not totally sure why it's the case but my colonists seem to prioritize using these, even if the standard-sized vanilla versions are much closer.

Had a pawn drag a corpse for butchering, going past the normal stove and butcher table to go a good 50 tiles outside of base to use the cutting board and chemfuel burner i'd placed on a bridge next to a fishing spot.


I don't have any mod that should cause such behavior, so i don't know what that was about.

I've just built a compact paste dispenser (the 2x2 one) and the game is complaining about needing hoppers adjacent to the dispenser. I have two hoppers though, one on the left and one on the right, I'm not sure where it expects me to put them as I've got it in a wall so there are only four tiles I can put them and I tried all four. I'm not certain if it's working as I haven't seen anyone use it yet but I also cannot right-click to force a pawn to use it either.

I know I'm over a month late, but check out Industrial Rollers. You'll need to move the nutrient paste to a stockpile (I forget if that's vanilla behavior or a mod, it's been a while), but then you can have rollers set to push one paste to each cell.

You know I had an idea for a paste dispenser the other day, what about a dispenser that can have tubes go through the walls similar to conduits and have outputs in multiple locations?

This would allow for say, a prison complex, to have it so that if you don't want to allow your prisoners outside of their cells, they could collect food right in their cell without the need of a warden delivering food to them

Ohhhh this mod makes such sense. Thank you for making this. It is a bit odd that such seemingly obvious ideas like a cutting board and portable stove weren't part of the base game. I would suggest that maybe the speed nerfs for the smaller stove and smaller butcher table should be more like 60% rather than 75%, considering these new tables are 66% of the size of the originals. Just a suggestion. Thanks for creating this mod!

Could you add an option to disable the compact variants? I like the later game additions but I feel like the compact workstations are not worth it so I'd like to remove them from my game.

Well i genuinely don't know what the problem was apparently it was more a load order issue than a straight mod conflict i reinstalled all my mods one by one while testing with this one as the lowest on the priority list and everything works fine now, just one of those things i guess.

Update:
* Support for modded recipes, thanks to MONKE for their guiding and C# code.

Chemfueled portable stoves do not support lavish recipes plus gourmet recipes from Vanilla Cooking Expanded -- this is intended. Compact electric stove, brewery, cutting board and butcher table fully inherit recipes of their vanilla variants.

No, I woudn't. Make your own patch, or ask the author of that mod to put their metals into proper categories, so they work with stuffable items.
