right didn't know about that one, i'll add both in - having to restart the first turn 3 or 5 times is infuriating

@samsockeater
It might. There's also the No Overwatch Lockups mod that removes most of them.
samsockeater 13 SEP 2023 a las 4:04
would this stop the bug where the camera gets stuck in the weird cinematic mode for reaction/overwatch shots?

No WOTC mod does.

This mod does not support backward-compatibility for vanilla XCOM 2. However there was mention before about a config.ini where you could preform an adjustment, located here:
XCOM 2\XComGame\Config (DefaultCamera.ini).

This was the instruction:
[XComGame.X2ReactionFireSequencer]
ReactionFireWorldSloMoRate=

The body's will still be slow but the firing rate is faster - this is acceptable, I would recommend changing this value as a workaround.

I set mine to 1.41
the default is 0.66

Still loading. Even if it doesn't work - thank you. :)

It should.

If this works with overwatch lost head-shots I'ma be 1 happy commander. i takes way to long to kill a random swarm that appears when in overwatch and with permanent lost world it happens quite often.

This is easily the best mod for xcom 2: wotc.
dmc32 18 NOV 2021 a las 17:07
p6kocka, yes, the ini edit works very well also, without highlander.
Traven 5 AGO 2021 a las 13:34
Thanks @Iridar for the quick reply! I tried the change mentioned in the comments but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. One more reason to play WotC instead of vanilla! lol
Iridar  [autor] 5 AGO 2021 a las 12:57
@Traven
If you look through comments above, there might be a way to achieve the same thing by editing config.
Traven 5 AGO 2021 a las 12:38
Does anyone know if a mod like this would be possible for vanilla X2?
Iridar  [autor] 3 AGO 2021 a las 11:02
@Sgt. Hobo
Fixed, thanks.
Sgt. Hobo 3 AGO 2021 a las 10:35
Also just a heads up this still shows Beta highlander as a requirement.

Thank you for this. Soooo much. Jah bless.

So according to the first comment about Stop Wasting My Time, yes, during overwatch shots the soldiers fire at normal speed instead of slow mo
LyrraKell 19 JUL 2021 a las 7:10
Thank you for this!!! I have had so many times in my current game where I get stuck in infinite slowmo overwatch. So frustrating. This has helped a great deal.

Thanks! I have all teh mods that speed stuff up, but is there one that speeds up the AI's turn, specially with the rebels and the lost!?? They are all so damn slow!
Marlon 15 JUL 2021 a las 17:00
thx bro this reduce some high FPS drop when more then one soldier trigger overwatch
Iridar  [autor] 15 JUL 2021 a las 8:45
@Redesrojas
If the version number says 1.22 then you can.
RedesRojas Best USA Player 15 JUL 2021 a las 8:38
can i use the Highlander who comes with the Long War of the Chosen mod?
Vanilla Autismotron 15 JUL 2021 a las 5:31
Awesome. Worst part of X2 versus long war is just how damn slow the game can feel at times. The faster things can go the better
Iridar  [autor] 14 JUL 2021 a las 12:32
@p6kocka
I'm not aware of that method. If removes the slo-mo just as well, than that is preferable, since it'll work even without Highlander. I don't intend to invest any effort into investigating it either way, though.

@Max
I don't think so, but not sure, never used that mod.
p6kocka 14 JUL 2021 a las 12:27
Isn´t it also possible with editing XcomCamera.ini:
[XComGame.X2ReactionFireSequencer]
ReactionFireWorldSloMoRate=1.0
?
Max 14 JUL 2021 a las 11:15
Doesn't Stop Wasting My Time do this already? Or does this implementation work differently?
