yeah i tested a bit, poked around and saw an error in the console or something, and figured at the least id update the mod to not have the xml file so people who dont manually manage their mods wont have to deal with crashes anymore lol

ok looks like itd be best to use the old tool since it looks like the new one is actually bugged

click onto ezitems again in that tboi tools github page but when the deprecated popup appears theres somewhere on it you can click to hide it and use the old tool

got chocolate milk after the update to the mod and it seems like the custom text isnt in the mod. the normal item name and description appeared instead

it looks like youll need to go through the item tool again since i dont see the custom name or description in the file it made either

omg i love you i was getting back into the game/modding it and was gonna try and fix the mod but ive been so busy with work. hopefully on sunday night or something i can take care of that

apparently its called eztools now but you can still find it by looking up "tboi modding tools" and clicking the github page by wofsauge

hey just to let you know apparently theres a site called ezitems that sets up a file to replace the name and description in a better way (though i think it requires the player to install the external item description mod) so if you ever update this mod use that

if you go coop game crash with this mod and get sad

Mod, along with the crashes/issues with EID, also prevents the 3 extra items added in 1.7.5 from spawning/showing in the items screen. 100% an issue with the XML file.

This mod is crashing on a player death in co-op and it prevents EID from working. Please fix it.

i havent tested anything yet because ive been taking care of some personal stuff but youre probably right

i assume it has something to do with the editing of items.xml. I went through all my mods and this mod was the one that made it crash. if it doesnt crash on your machine then I assume its a mod incompatability. If its another mod interacting weirdly with yours sorry, I just found that disabling your mod made my game not crash.

sorry i havent updated it for the new mod changes but holy crap i cannot begin to fathom how that would be the case
