Beware: the support for VFE: Power has been removed and replaced by VHGE, as the Vanilla Expanded team has made the gas launchers a seperate mod.

Afraid that you need 2 launchers and that single pod travels between if you have these have these "Pods Funnels" next to launchers on each destination ... so you it wont be that cheap D: only as if you made a bus stations and just refuel, load with stuff/people and send again again .. probably for multi-base playthoughs .. i dont see any other use, cause you cant really just go for mining mission unpack this and send few boxes of ore home ...

Does these pods fly back home on their own? or needed a lancher to do so? am looking for a mod that can send the pods back him, for delivering quest items, shooting good back and forth from a crash landed ship site. Anyone know such a much or an mod the might have it? :)

Any modded launchers need to explicitly have support patched for them. I'd do it if I wasn't so busy with school, sorry.

Works perfectly but doesn't seem to work with Helixien pod launchers from Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Power. Doesn't matter though, I don't use those much anyway because they fill up extremely slowly. Excellent mod, thank you.

Yes there is a pod that can be used but I was looking for one without fuel, which uses the gravitation of the planet and can carry a lot of cargo. Not as a reuse pod, more like a real drop pod, which is just designated to fall down. Lets say as an emergency or raid pod.

Sorry, no. SOS2 expressly forbids using vanilla pods for transferring to orbit, so patching that in is outside the scope of this mod. And AFAIK there isn't even a building called drop pod in SOS2?

I am looking in to Better Pod Launchers support though @Martin

Hello, can you add a patch that you can land with these pods in a Spaceship from SOS2? Or a kind of droppod? (A building 3x3 with a single pod which doesnt need fuel?) It would be awesome c:

The funnel only works on your own pods targeted at a map with an active funnel. It doesn't do anything to your own pods launched to another settlement or other unloaded world tile.

You're supposed to build one at your main base and then another in a satellite colony (e.g. mining base) so you can have a cheap supply line between them via pods.

Took a quick look at it. It appears to be a bug in Rimworld's base code; I haven't touched any stuff related to the research screen. I'll see about reporting it.

Okay, I was NOT awake when I typed that comment lmfao. Yeah my bad, I uploaded this at like 1:30am and completely forgot 1.3 wasn't technically out yet. Will test on 1.2 once I get home from work and push an update to the tags if need be.

great mod, was just thinking about this a few days ago, any chance that pods that get destroyed drop a % of their steel input as wreckage to be recycled? Always bothered me that these transport pods don't leave any wreckage as if the metal just incinerates and vanishes on landing.

while I understand it for balance purposes, I'm slightly disappointed I can't just catch escape pods and resource drop pods that come in from neutral parties
