Hi everyone, I'm actively working on the massive 1.6 overhaul still. I had hoped to get it out before the release of 1.6 but there's still a little bit left to go, but it'll be out very soon!

@lol I'm actually doing a complete rewrite of this mod right now that will have the ability (configurable) to hide everything, including gear. I don't want to give an ETA because it'll be a while but probably it'll come out around when the next DLC drops.

@Lakuna Could you please add "unknown trait" and/or "hidden trait" into the mod description? Maybe it's just me, but I'm hoping it will allow Google or Steam search to actually find this mod, for dummies like me who constantly forget names of things.

Google and Steam SEO apparently hate this mod, cause they refused to find this for me, unless I specifically add "Well Met" into the search lol. Instead they prefer Stranger Danger and People Can Change! I enabled nearly 400 mods, and completely forgot what this mod was called when I wanted to disable it!

@Rassmond Some traits have unique unlock conditions (i.e. Pyromaniac, which won't unlock until they go on a fire-starting spree). A large update for this mod is planned but it's in my backlog at the moment for a variety of reasons.

some trait take a little over a half year i've noticed. some are quicker.

How exactly you get to know them? Colonists keep unknown traits even after half year.. Switched to this mod from Stranger danger(which now "continued") that also hid skills but unknown status there was much shorter

@feydras That is correct. There is an option to show them in the mod settings.

@Sakujo I'm not sure, but there will be a very major update coming out somewhat soon that could change that. If it doesn't, I can take a look at it after that.

I'm pretty swamped with school since finals are in 2 weeks for me so my time to update my mods is pretty limited right now

@ELVISLIVES Right now, that's just the number of days it takes to discover a trait per level of rarity of the trait. For example, it would take 120 days (2 years) to discover a trait with a rarity of 2 when that slider is at 60.

A workaround for others is that you can disable Well Met, reload, go through the growth moment, save, reload with Well Met enabled again.

FYI growth moments seem to freeze the game client with this mod enabled, or at least disabling this mod prevents the growth moment from freezing. Also have "vanilla traits expanded" enabled.

There are other traits as well other than beauty that would be apparent very quickly, like annoying voice. Or have a triggering discovery event, like pyros after they first encounter fire. etc.

Helo, @Lakuna. Thank your for updating. Could be possible to make beauty traits (pretty, ugly, etc.) never be hidden? It seems reasonable to me, considering beauty or ugliness are at mere sight.

Have been using the mod for a while and it´s the first time it happened to me. Could be because i was using character editor and that mod skipped the hiding of my own pawns in creation?

Somehow this mod is making my own pawns have hidden traits. Even in creation, when i´m picking which pawns to start with their traits appear as "unknown trait"

Unless sexual orientation ones are special cases, all of my prisoners have one of those traits (thanks to rational romance), so they're known and should be appearing, but they aren't. I have 2 prisoners that do have the tough trait shown though, that wasn't there before I'm guessing that shows when they take damage? Because I did have a prison break.

@Random Tank @Aquiles @Aphrodirty I'll take a look at this mod to make sure it's working properly when I finish the big update I'm working on for Prepare Moderately. Thank you for the reports.

It's unlikely but possible that all of the traits that aren't appearing for you are gated behind other conditions. There are a few like that.

I've had the mod on a save and played through a couple quadrums with my starting pawns and they still have their traits hidden which is why I asked if that was a feature or not, I know their traits are set to reveal over time but multiple quadrums felt excessive.
