Not sure if this helps anyone but I found a incompatibility with Combat Bionics mod. I imagine it's something to do with the abilities there.
Deadeye is an excellent mod and just can't be played without it!

I own Royalty and Ideology and I am having the same issue.
"Cannot use LookDeep to save non-IExposable non-null autocastDeadeye of type System.Boolean"

My pawns are dying for no reason, but Im not sure this mod does it.
like "Died Cause of Fruit drink" is really sad..

I have the same issue as LocalYourBoxBro and for the life of me i cant figure out the mod incompatibility.

@Pyrogonist The mod doesnt require any expansion. I think either i junked one of the mods setting or an update did it for me. I'll look into fixing it. Thanks for reporting it!

Even with basic setup I get errors `Cannot use LookDeep to save non-IExposable non-null autocastDeadeye of type System.Boolean` :(
I think it happens at the start of new colony, but for sure and after a save

uhhhhh, deadeye doesnt work. it doesnt make the guy shoot, but still adds the cooldown for the ability. is this a mod imcompatibility?

At first I didn't quite understand the use of this, thought it only improves accuracy against the pawn you've selected. Knowing how to use now, I just can't play without this god-like mod.

Finally went through the entire list, It also doesnt work with Vanilla acessories expanded, which sucks.

@Criss Ixtar yeah its a side effect of heavily depending on the verb classes, i'll check if the CE patch helps, because it is only a slight change to the timing of things. Thanks of the heads-up.

Oh, I should be more clear, I'm not requesting to be able to -use- the combat bionics with deadeye, but that either of those mods being loaded causes deadeye to not function, it'l go through the animation, the cooldown, etc. But then not fire any bullets.

Unfortunately This is not compatible with Combat Bionics, Or VWE's heavy weapons reloading patch, Due to them using a verb system.

yep, seems any of them loaded with androids have only androids working

when combined with xenohumans, androids work, xenohumans don't work, in any order of loading, xenohumans and half dragons both work simultaneously, i have a completely unfounded hypothesis that this has something to do with the way androids patches other races to be able to create "android" versions of them in the android assembler

was testing using the xenohumans mod, the fairly recent half dragon mod, and chjees androids, chjees being added was when deadeye stopped functioning, ALTHOUGH, you are right that i never tested *just* with androids, having started with xenohumans and adding one at a time, instead of each individually

@IFailAtGaming Ironically i tested the last patch with ChJees Androids mod, but the ability itself works? But is it only Androids mod? What about other Alien race? Thanks in advance

@Nixson i think i was wrong, and i might have managed to track it down, it seems ChJees Androids mod is the one breaking deadeye, it neither allows pre generated aliens to use deadeye, and breaks the trainers, why it does that, can't tell you, threw zero errors, if you need a log, i might be able to provide anyway, but right now, all i know is that it seems to do it, not why

@IFailAtGaming I'll take a look, thats weird, the serum codewise work almost exactly like a skill serum. Man this is really buggy.

ah, it seems the deadeye trainer isn't working on aliens, that's the issue, naturally generated ones are functioning perfectly

hmm, still doesn't seem to be working, what race did you test with? cause i'm testing with the xenohumans mod, and those don't seem functional, just to try to narrow things down

Updated. Now it should work with Alien races too. Just one little detail, i set the Deadeye trait to be pretty rare so don't worry if it just doesn't appear.

Hey, Deadeye only works on human because that's the master race. jk. I think i only patched in Deadeye to humans, i'll update the patch and it should work on any race.

not sure why, only seems to be working on humans, nothing in logs about it, when using deadeye serum non humans don't gain anything except for the trait, and when using character editor to manually add trait and psycast, using it does nothing, haven't been able to get a randomly generated alien with deadeye though, so don't know if that doesn't work

Hi, i think it should be compatible with Immortals, as of Celestial, i dont know that mod. But if it is a race mod then it should be compatible.

No. But i think the Deadeye is set to only cast when the pawn is in combat. So that maybe why it isnt cast while hunting
