@Folio that's kinda on you for running Goki's Things, Gokith is a very unstable mod and not maintained, I would recommend trying out Copi's Things on GitHub (an in-beta successor to Goki's Things)

Hey hey, it might what's on my mod list, increased enemies from the new enemies mod, or the fact I have like 40 mods, but anytime I load a world with this mod and it generates the blast pits, I KNOW it's there before I clear the mines because my performance hits the fan. Like the performance is crazy on that section only, everything else is good, but I literally had to turn down explosion shake intensity due to it always shaking the screen when that biome is in the world.
aw man, why does it gotta crash with goki's things... that's still one of the best mods out there.

Is the RNG chance based on the seed, or will you have different layouts of alt floors each time you run the same seed?

this is honestly one of the best mods for noita IMO, feels like actual official content in terms of quality.

any ideas for the alternate meat realm? it would be cool to have some kind of disease themed biome with lots of bodily fluids like vomit, excrement and urine, maybe the actual terrain could be made of rotting meat or something

I don't think it's your load order, as I'm having the same issue. For now, probably best to disable the mod.

it might just be my mod order, but where theres supposed to be biomes they are replaced by what i can best describe as... air. just a straight pitfall to the portal. anyone have any ideas on how to fix that?

crashes when attempting to enter dark cave. running a lot of other stuff like apotheosis, grahams, varia, etc, but removing this mod stops the crash. havent figured out the conflict yet

Crash notice: As said by halfwave, I experience a consistent crash when entering the laboratory biome west of the beginning mines. However I am not running beta.

@Saracanite velk.ca Goki's things is quite old and causes many bugs. I'd suggest turning it off for the sake of troubleshooting

Welp idk how or why, but the frozen passages area seems to crash due to a enemy or something of the sort.

I have a good pc and no mods other than this and Goki's stuff mod.

The spiders could be causing this but idk

@Tanksy You can integrate any of the alt. biomes into Noitavania if you want. I was planning on doing something similar but never got around to it.

I am having an issue where the Lukka electric spiders in the frozen passages are causing game crashes. I havn't done a huge amount of testing but it seems to be happening as soon as I deal damage to them, whether this be by spell, by throwing something at them, or otherwise.

I have, loading in this order:
- Alternate Biomes
- Hover guage near player
- CheatGui
- Goki's things
- Anvil of Destiny
- Spellbound Bundle
- Spell lab

Ah, interesting. Either way, still love this mod. I like this take so much more than having the biomes be the same and just applying modifiers to them (like the level being hot, or full of fungal spores). Then again, the devs only had so much time when they made the game, so I can't blame them.

@Safe-Keeper An underwater biome was planned for the longest time in the vanilla game. I believe it was slated to release not long after the power plant biome, but we have not heard anything about it since. I have considered making a mod out of what few assets still remain of it in the files, but that would be reserved for its own mod, not Alt Biomes.

Fantastic mod. Always felt like Noita should have more randomized biomes, so this is wonderful. Just getting started with it, the Blast Pit feels so natural, like something that could be found in vanilla Noita! The crystals were a bit anticlimatic, expected them to go off with a huge bang when touched by explosions, but overall I love this.

One thing I wish Noita would have is a flooded/underwater biome, though could you consider making that? With air pockets throughout so you can traverse it without the Breathless perk. Would need some aquatic enemies, too. Not sure what biome it should replace, though.

@Thrilliott Is doesn't add any new locations to the map if that's what you mean, it only replaces biomes that already exist in the world.

@PickledSosig I forgot I had this lantern actual light mod on and I haven't crashed in two holy mountains with that disabled so I guess I found the culprit.

Only mods I have active with this is alchemy recipe and duck wizard. And first I accidentally posted *uck wizard and lol'd at myself.

@Suomu See if you can isolate any conflicting mods. If the crashes still persist try booting up the developer version of the game in your game's local files, which will provide you with a developer console that will detail any errors.
