@Andreas outside of any massive changes to the game the modder told me it should work fine, provided you use the caveats I mentioned in the description. The only things it might not save are anomaly things but I rarely use them. Once my favorite mods catch up I will also come back to this game and probably get this commissioned to include them! I'm just busy at the moment =]

I don't know why this isn't already in the game. This is such a timesaving feature, it's mind-boggling how something like this wasn't built-in from the get-go.

@The Bard of Hearts finally took some time after work and re-figured out how to update mods (had to re-download rimworld to do so! haha) and with taranchuks kind help hopefully this should be updated to 1.5 pending steam auto-checking it. Hope you enjoy the new update with your wife =]

One quick note. Even if all Playsets are deleted from the Mod Options Menu, the playset that appears under the 'Custom...' option will still be there until the game is relaunched.

Found them @Pillowesque. Now sure why the mod wasn't appearing there before, but they're there. Thanks for the help.

Hey where the custom preset file is created when you saved one ? I would like to send him to my friend with discord in order to let him play the same hardcore preset than me. (I know he will have to DL the mod too)

forgot this was actually a mod and thought i just imagined being able to save custom presets, thankyou for updating :)

So far this is working for me every time: Click custom, go mess with all your settings, save it. Next time you go in click on custom and then scroll back up and click on your preferred setting. Don't fall into the trap of clicking on your preset first!! I think I explained it in description but it's some coding nightmare that is easily defeated haha

It hasn't be updated to 1.4 yet. Thats why its not working.

For some reason this no longer works for me. The menu buttons in the difficulty and stroyteller selection screen just disappear when I have this mod added. I've removed all but this mod to test it, so I'm certain of it.

When starting a new game using the saved custom setting, you have to fiddle with it to get the saved settings to toad. I initially selected my saved custom settings and it loaded the Strive to Survive default. I then tried to select one of the normal settings and then back to my custom saved setting, and it loaded what I had saved.

This works fine except for a small flaw. If you save your preset, it does not really save it. If you make a change by using the sliders it automatically updates the preset. This is both good and bad. You can not make a saved preset where you would need to overwrite like I was hoping. It is more of a 'soft' saved preset.

I'll try without other mods tomorrow, it's midnight, and i'm sleeeepy :s
