You need to fix the AK-47 and chrome shotgun skins. It only shows the bumpmaps.

you can open the downloaded vpk file (workshop addons are located in steam/steamapps/common/left 4 dead 2/left4dead2/addons/workshop) and extract the skins you would like and re-compile it.

This looks great but is there a way to only select some? The classic Der Rise is still my favorite skin of all for PaP weapons but I have some other weapons skins I'd like to keep.

I'm sorry, I stopped re-skinning. I wanted to have some skinpacks, and so I made them, I do not enjoy making skins anymore so I stopped.

I also intend not to annoy other busy people to do something I'd not even care about.. A long while ago I did ask splinks to do a astronaut survivor replacement but apparently he couldn't do it because he is simply too busy doing other works. AFAIK there is a sound + particle + skin mod, you could take the sound and particle and merge them with this mod. Should be possible.

Ah. You should make sounds and particles for it. Or get splinks or someone of equal skill to help you with it.

No, but if you download GCFScape and L4D2 authoring tools from steam, you can extract the gun skins individually.

if you mean the skins from "origins", the effects give like an icy "volume" , while in the source engine you can either just put a flat skin or transparent skin (transparent looks pretty ugly on guns)

I've had enough money spending for map packs, and it was worth it. bought black ops 1,2 and mw3 season pass, but I stopped playing after black ops II.. ghosts is meh, not fun. I stopped CoD there..

I mean it's not bad they put dlc stuff there, but kinda ridiculous they always ask money for it, even if it's just 1$, in my opinion.

they put it in the game cuz so many ppl ask for it^^ in my opinion one of the best skinpack dlc :P

I've found something like the black ops 1 PAP skin, but I'm afraid I can't do those skins. They will look too similair like my tron skinpacks.

They added like 10 personlization packs. Don't ask me, they just wanted more money I guess.
I stopped playing CoD before they added them, but when I checked back after a long while, I noticed they added those.
