Seems the balancing is a bit off. It needs a 100 grain, which is 5 nutrition which is exactly as much as 4 vegetarian lavish meals. That does not feel right when you are just making a brick of flour.

I made an XML patch that lets you use VCE flour in the baking recipes. However the workshop submission is currently stuck in the automated system checking thing. I promise I will post the link here as soon as I can

[Update Note] I deleted most of my old mods from the workshop, as I don't plan on updating them anymore. There's a link on my profile if you want to take them over. The other mods in the workshop will all be updated to 1.5. Please be patient.

I second what GiantPrizm, DRT99 and Neshimi all said.

Different reactions from Gourmand/Ascetic colonists, neutral flavour for everyone else, mod options to adjust and enable/disable these, and definitely please fix the bulk crafting recipe. Bulk recipes should use the same amount of ingredients as if you did the normal recipe 4 times, but with a slight reduction in work.

On the subject of what GiantPrizm said, would you consider some mod options to adjust the stats to individual preference? Maybe penalty/bonus severity, and tick boxes for ascetic, gourmand, and everyone else? Otherwise, good work!

Cook Hardtack x4 takes 4x as much nutrition but only produces 2x as much hardtack.

pawns with Gourmand trait should get negative mood, while for Ascetic trait pawns get positive mood. and keep it Neutral mood honestly.

Great mod, I used to have hardtack I bought from bakeries around me. Had it with coffee and it was delicious! Eating it on its own is a challenge though haha

You should make a extra feature that could attract insects or rats to these things cause back then people had tons of issues with them being eaten by insects and rats. Sailors would literally be half way through a journey open a barrel labeled "biscuits" and find it full of weevils and rats.

@Hydromancerx I liked the hardtack from those mods but I don't always use them, so I made my own. Use rice or corn, 25 of it to make a hardtack, with a 4x bulk recipe. Eating them give a non-stacking -4 mood penalty for 24 hours. That's it.

Oh neat, not something I expected to see made since hardtack is fairly unknown these days for probably obvious reasons.
