It would be cool if this also supported the Eltex Jewelry from https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3203280763 (see 1.5/Defs/Royalty in that mod for the eltex pieces)

Honestly, the original intention was to make human leather eltex gear for cannibal psychics, so they can get the buff for wearing human leather while still having full eltex gear.

The point being, if it makes the default item without regard to the stats of the materials used, it no longer matters. Its just extra expenditure for no benefit.

@The Bard of Hearts - It plays kind of funny with some other mods, such as VPE (which I still need to check into) and there's another stuffables mod that makes it so you can stuff them with weird stuff like stone and wood.

Is this mod working as intended? Curious because of the previous comments. I don't use CE but I'd like the ability to make Eltex gear.

Yeah.. I tried to make my psyker wear full eltex gear with tough materials in hoping they could survive fights. Since default eltex gear kinda suck defense wise. Thinking it made of plasteel or hyperweave would work but no.. it made defaults

ah. which ones?. i litterally just used them yesterday. they *pretend* to be stuffable. they only craft default variants. cause i made a full set yesterday with hyperweave. and it only gave me default variants..

Thank you, that's the first I've heard about any interaction with CE. I have to admit that I'm not sure this mod is really strictly necessary anymore though - VPE actually includes making most of the Eltex Gear stuffable already.

@Latex Santa, check out the Anima Obelisk mod, using it in tandem with Vanilla Psycast Expanded you can have loads of randoms charge it up to be used by your important people, or for some quick exp, it can hold in base up to 10 full psyfocus bars at a time discharging 5% of it's total daily and when your person needs more psyfocus they just go interact with it for a bit and it fills them to full, leaving the rest to be used later

You can customize the settings for it so that it has no deterioration if you find that your people never stop charging it because it ticks down a tiny bit

I use a mod that lets me do rituals to make psycasters with the other two and have stuff like meditation slaves that never stop meditating/charging for my Mind Wipers/Enthrallers/Limb Regrowers/Psychic Soothers/etc or just use it as a battery to en masse cast immunity on a group of 10+ people when a plague hits

@these people So, funny story, Vanilla Psycasts Expanded eltex equipment being craftable and requiring eltex but not being stuffable DOES NOT play nice with this mod. Could we have some sort of compatibility patch between these two, please?

With this mod and Psy-Eltex in my mod list, Royalty psycasts will FINALLY be worth using for me. Never liked the idea of having stuffy nobles push me around (I've had my fill of that reading horror stories about them from Dwarf Fortress playthroughs).

Never liked the idea of having them meditate for HOURS each day, just to be super useful during raids and THAT'S IT. It's why I've stopped using Monks and Mystics from Rimworld of Magic - they're very useful, but need to recharge their Chi for effing A G E S each day.

Thank you folks, thank you so much. Now, psycasts are actually worth using for me, almost 2 years after I've bought Royalty.

So I'm getting more and more puzzled by something with eltex and since I can't find much on it, I'm wondering if it's a bug caused by too many mods - but basically eltex gear has a stat called "psychic sensitivity offset", while prestige gear has just "psychic sensitivity" - I can see an immediate change to heat and other stats that are multiplied by psychic sensitivity when taking on or off prestige items, but eltex doesn't seem to have any effect on psychic sensitivity. It does help with heat recovery though and I can see it listed as effecting the stat under info.

What does the "psychic sensitivity offset" even do??
