there's a problem, the plants all die which I'd imagine causes the base to stop being self sufficient due to that

@Kittylitter composters generate hydrogen :)
Kittylitter 30 Aug, 2021 @ 9:30am
how does it generate its own hydrogen?

@CTH2004 The nighttime temp is lower, but also has less of an atmosphere so cooling is much easier. You can use cold air from night to cool base while its 600+ during daytime.

but the day is higher... I guess a lower night-time makes getting a cooler base easier?

Ah well

@CTH2004 Vulcan isn't much easier, but it has a lower night time temperature. :)

wait, vulcan is easier than venus?

and, if you do, could you prive a link to your yt channel, so I can watch you build it? (:

@CTH2004
maybe for a "Let's Play" format :)
but either of those on vanilla settings would be an easier challange

do you plan on making a self-sufficient:

Vulcan;
Moon;
Mars;
Europa;

base? (Especially Vulcan, with the others you can be outside 24/7 at least)

Awsome!

So you can just empty the waste pipe now? To get rid of heat? That is insane! I need to test this out.

Also really great build! Personally I've yet to automate the harvie with IC myself or even try it out as I like to have a reason to do gardening in the game manually.

But if what you are doing with the AC's can be that effecient. Man....
