My goal with this mod was to add historically accurate reticules to the game instead of the incorrect ones, so I'm just glad that I'm getting help to achieve that goal. I'm not the most knowledgeable on WW2 reticules as a whole, so I really appreciate the feedback when something isn't correct. And I completely understand being tired after work, no need for apologies.

Yeah, from what I saw yesterday when I looked at some pictures of the reticules was pretty much the same as what you said, with the single post and thick at the bottom and a point at the top. I will definitely make sure to use that video as a reference too! I should be able to fix both of the mods soon.

@BuddyBoyChum: Yeah, Putt Putt is right. It is a single post reticle. I made the mistake of calling it a tapered-post for some reason (must of been very late night and I was tired from work), and I cannot edit the original comment. I just didn't want to be a jerk and say "You did it wrong." as I tend to accept and appreciate what people offer and do.

So I apologize for not saying anything sooner, or, at all. But again, thank you for your work.

Putt Putt will know more than me, but compared to the Winchester A5 that looks to be the same "thickness" the entire length of the post, the Weaver Model 330 and Lyman Alaskan M82 start out thick on the bottom and thins out to the center as a point. Basically like a very skinny, yet tall triangle.
The best reference you can find of this is a "Rising Storm 1 Weapons Showcase" on YouTube and look for the Springfield Sniper in the video.

Ok, thanks for bringing this to my attention. When I had made the other reticule mod, I had a hard time finding a good (and real) picture of the M82 reticule and I actually used the last picture (https://www.milsurps.com/images/imported/2010/01/9_2200_49-1.jpg) you posted in your message for reference! At the time though I had thought that it had a horizontal line through the reticule, like a tapered-post reticule, so that's why it ended up looking like the M84 reticule. I now know what it's supposed to look like! I'll fix both of the mods in the next few days.

@ Putt Putt The Purple Car, because the Weaver Model 330 and Lyman Alaskan M82 are both single post reticules, I just wanted to know if they look basically the same or if there are any slight differences in appearance between them? The pictures are all pretty blurry so it's kind of hard to tell.

Honestly I been waiting for an overhaul for reticles, so I thank you for sharing this. Just a thought, but ever consider a tapered-post reticle based on the Lyman "Alaskan M82" scope for the Springfield 4x scope?
