Damn great ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ map. When I saw it, though only 2 others were on it, and one was afk, just walking around it was insanely awesome. Being in Metal Gear Solid, at least a decent portion it, after many year

There are a few of these larger VR mission maps reused in the MGS2 VR missions. The aesthetic and the MGS1 vr aesthetic is so good.
damn it's good
You'll see when you play, there's some ripped assets in the map already. They're pretty low-res, especially in VR, so I tried to balance it out. You'll notice it specifically on the iconic PAN key doors. I've also added the music as well as some high-res versions of textures that help with the overall 'feel'. This is all tied together with some meticulous lighting to create some good atmosphere as well as gameplay. Hope you enjoy.
Hey if it's any use to you at all, the textures from the original PS1 game are all 'loose' in the PC version of the game although they have baked-in lighting, some sound effects can be found in there too IIRC.
You could probably grab them from the net too if you know where but I prefer using my own local assets if at all possible.
Like how actual elevators work I suppose.
oh sorry i was dreaming :)
Keep up the great work.
The map is close, but still a work in progress. Appreciate all the support so far.
This is truly an AMAZING map, the atmosphere is perfect, the sound effects are top notch, its LARGE and the attention to detail is unmatched. I cannot stress enough to anyone whos a fan of MGS or even just wanting a fun map, that this is hands down the best map I've played so far.
It was clearly made by someone with a love for the game, or at the very bare minimum a love for detail and they absolutely captured this map.
From there, you can take the adjacent elevator up to the ground floor. Alternately, you can crawl through the vent sytem.
There's also a prison area and I couldn't find the exit there either. Maybe it's just me but I was looking pretty hard lol
