It's probably an issue with the game engine, but thought I'd mention it here:

I'm playing a game with Henry VIII in Barbarian Clans mode. Conquered Venice and they're still showing up in the City-States listing as at war with me.

Also, how do I find out what Suzerain bonuses I have as Henry VIII? If there's no way currently, are you able to code that in somewhere?

Thanks for your amazing work and imagination!

No. Henry VIII WAS the father of the English navy, not Henry VII, who hated spending money. But I don't think the term 'fickleness' is appropriate. Flexibility perhaps. But thanks so much for creating this mod.

For me Henry VIII's main trait was a political sense of what he can do and when. From defender of the faith to the excomunicated heretic (once he didn't need the Papacy, he capitalized on it greatly). Same with diplomacy, he was flirting with both Charles and Francis and even though he eventually aligned with Charles, he was not fully commited to war with France. Thomas Cromwell is another great example of what happens to people who fell out of his favour (even though he allegedly regretted it later). Finally switching wifes like gloves. This all speaks to me: use and throw out. Legal union with Wales and his focus on Ireland and Scotland were another factors that directed me to City-States. There is also "father of navy" thing, but I personally find it to be more of his predecessor's achievement.
Therefore flexibility and fickleness.
Of course, you can adapt mod to your liking even in notepad.

Great leaderhead graphic! :steamhappy:

But Henry VIII was historically famous for breaking from the grip of Roman Catholism (besides chopping the heads of many wives). Perhaps a religious trait would have been more appropriate, no?
