Alright, fair enough. Thanks anyway, for taking a look at the issue. I am convinced there is an override on one of the mods that is causing this. Maybe I will take a closer look at some point. Would you like me to let you know if I find something like that?

i have no intention im making something like that, as there are many that rebalance the town already

I have another mod that modifies districts. It is on a different json file but that is the closest one I think that may be the reason. Otherwise it is from one of the mod that has a wild edit but still, with this one on the top, it should have priority. In any case, can you make one that starts the game with all of the buildings updated to max to reduce the grinding? Or maybe lower the price of the updates?

tested it twice now, it's still working normally.

Maybe you have some other mod that is incompatible with it?

If i remember correctly, just change "number_of_quests_finished" to 0. It should be something like this:

yeah, but that would remove the tutorial boxes too, so i did this mod for that purpose

it is actually doable without a mod (probably with new saves only) by typing -skiptutorial into the launch options.

i'm amazed it wasn't done before
