That appears to be something I forgot to work on. :/
I'll see about making that one a seperate node this week.
All done now.
Unfortunately, the INI configuration has been taken back into the backroom while I figure out how to get it to work correctly. Items prices have been manually set and I'll see about either balancing them out or providing an additional mode with different pricing sets. (Please, let me know if anyone knows someone that has worked on similar topics and/or knows about server replication in the unreal engine.)
I apologize for the massive delay.
Will be taking a look at the treasure hunter issue reported below.
It's on my to do list though.
This should be fixed now.
Please let me know if there is any other issue I have missed and I'll get to fixin it.
-Server ini settings should now be correctly reflected in connected clients for all merchant inventories. (please, pick up and place down again any merchant that does not reflect this fix.)
-Ammo merchant: changed explosive arrow ini value for exploding barrel ini value. (see discussions for updated ini entries.)
-Butcher merchant: added cursed bone chips into keratinoid entry and ini value. (see discussions for updated ini entries.)
-All merchants: quantity sold is now set to 1. This means each purchase gives you 1 of each item. Keep that in mind when setting custom prices. I will be adding this as a configurable field in a future update.
Please, do not hesitate to let me know if any issues show up or if you see/feel anything is weird. I have done lots of testing, but exhaustion is a thing and there might be things I did not see or foresee.
Happy sailing.
Expect and update relatively soon.
I'll be taking a look at the Treasure Hunter soon.
Thank you. :D
I'm still doing research on the matter.
I did, however, optimize how the structures were coded.
New update soon once i have a full fix.
just tried picking up anputting back down and still the same value
sorry for late reply
not sure where ive gone wrong tbh
my discord is here if you have time you can pop in and i could show you in real time as to not flood your coment section

I tried changing the seed merchant value for coffee seed from 1 to 10 on my side and it worked.
I wanna see if it's a particular merchant or item that is bugged.
One thing that might also fix things is picking up the merchant and placing it down again, though I'm not sure.
i put x10 to all prices (added a 0 to each price) and nothing has channged.
ini added to gui
"For the next update, gonna look at ini configuration for item quantities so you can sell x amount of an item for the configured prices."
to:
"For the next update, gonna look at ini configuration for item quantities so you can BUY x amount of an item for the configured prices."
Selling to npc is not available yet. Only buying. :P
-Added price ini configuration to seed merchant.
-Added price ini configuration to butcher merchant.
-Added price ini configuration to food merchant.
For the next update, gonna look at ini configuration for item quantities so you can sell x amount of an item for the configured prices.
Please, let me know if any issues come up with this update and I'll get to work on fixing it ASAP.
I'm almost done with those and the seed merchant too.
Just testing out some optimizations to blueprint functions I was curious about. :)
If the merchants inventory doesn't update, pick up the merchant and place it down again.
1. Ini configuration for setting prices of the resource merchant. See discussions section for ini file entry. It's a long one and it took me quite a while to set it up. @_@
Please, let me know if any issues come up with this update and I'll get to work on fixing it ASAP.
I've been waiting for this kind of mode for four years. I can wait a few more days.
Because I'm playing a single player with 500K.
Only the ammo one in this update.
The rest will get the same treatment in a bit.
Had to push this first one to also fix an issue with the grenades/oiljar/bola/knife.
1. Ammo merchant is now ini configurable. If not configured, default sell price is 100 coins for each item entry. See discussions section for ini file entry.
2. Ammo merchant will now sell you 1 of each item per purchase. If you buy an arrow, you will get 1 arrow. This will be adjusted to be ini configurable in the future.
3. Fixed issue where grenades, oil jars, throwing knives and bolas could be thrown and not consumed. This made them an endless ammo item.
Please, let me know if any issues come up with this update and I'll get to work on fixing it ASAP.
Gonna be picking back up some projects soon, this one included. :)
When will the ini settings be updated?
Yeh, it works in single player just fine, but please let me know if you come across any issues and I'll try to fix them ASAP. :D
Gonna take a bit to have done though.
As for ark creatures, I had started working on a separate mod for it, but it got a bit daunting. :/
Also, adding it to this one would bloat the heck out of the download/upload size and I would probably get some angry comments about it lol
I might pick it back up one of these days though.
You will get from 250-500 gold per box.
I'm gonna be adding this to ini configuration as well, once I have it all sorted out.
I'll work on adding a random amount as a reward as well on top of the current loot. :)
